We may be able to get away with it, but doesn't mean it's legal. Some counties here in the States have emissions testing, which means modifying anything engine/exhaust related (especially cats) is impossible. At least you guys have the ability to use aftermarket catalytic converters and engines that are not original to the car.
Exactly what I was thinking. In my youth I had a real Mini Clubman Estate (1979) with 6 x 10 Weller Wheels, 1275GT rear drums (which had built in spacers) and 1" spacers. The inside of the wheel was level with the outside of the car. Literally with an hour of driving it the first police car I saw was on my like a rash and I had to make arches for it out of "For Sale" signs. Those were the days :)
I wanna see that thing fully built for Off Road! Grill guard/skid plate, KC lights, and lifted with the long travel. Also might want to figure out the power issue. Maybe K-swap it with boost? Make it a ripper!

They need to get approval though so you can legally go on the road with your modifications. Not every modification will get approval (such as modifications that make your vehicle significantly louder, less safe or emit significantly more emissions), but you can still make a whole range of modifications and of course repair your car yourself. Complex modifications would require extensive documentation and a lengthy approval process.

There's some legit countryman builds out there if you google image for them, we have a ball in our countryman with all terrain tires. Handles the trails better than the ford bronco sport lol

It was awesome to see the mini and the jumpicon out for the gambler 500. I didnt get to see it at hooptie x but i got to have the jumpicon going down the mountian behind me on the trailer. It was fun. 😀
Was hoping for some audio of how horribly the tires rub during spirited driving, was not disappointed. Props to the audio work when editing, brought back many good memories. Makes me wanna build something again and finally run in the gambler.

Holy shit, I actually thought they were going to use that replacement for the front strut and then try and drive it. Unbelievable. I love this channel, they have absolutely no idea what they are doing, but they just keep going. Thank goodness Oscar is there, otherwise they would all be dead by now….

You should put the long travel suspension on the mini then use it as the tool and service car for the jumpacon in any other off-road races you attend with it
