I can say I’m an avid user of RUclips and 99 percent of the time rarely do I watch a video from beginning to end, but with this one I did. This was put together nicely. To keep my attention is worth it’s weight in Gold
I'm originally from Dushi Korsou, as we call our "baranka chikí" (little rock)... and watching this video made me super emotional, and even prouder of my island and my people! I've been living in Florida for almost 30 years and try to go back every year! My parents and family still live there. 😊 You've gone to a bunch of places in Curaçao - in 5 days?! How??!! - I've yet to check out! I could smell the food you were having. 😋 I'm sharing this video with ALL my friends who have yet to visit and with those that have been... just to have them plan their next trip!! 🤭🤭 I'll be there in the summer; looking forward to being there even more! 💜
You are my kind of people. Learning the history of the places you visit. Enjoying the different cuisines. Nothing better than the local spots. I love this. Thank you!
my dad is from curacao he will love this video it is so beautifully captured. The warmth of the people the colorful food nature and the art. They dont have a lot but they have a lot to give. Thank you for creating this 🙏🏝 greetings from The netherlands
My island!! I was born in Curaçao, but was raised in the Netherlands. Love, love, LOVE this video. I'm taking my husband with me to Curaçao for the first time next month. He's never been there. He got excited after he watched this video.
That discription of where the island is "next to Aruba off the coast of Venezuela" and is how we all say it. And great to see an old friend giving the tour!
Thank you so much for this amazing video sharing and showing the world your experience on our beautiful island. I hope you visit us again and also thanks to everyone who participated in this video. We are very grateful DANKI ❤
From a proud curacaon i just want to say thank you to you guys for highlighting this place and actually capturing its essence... beatiful man this is one of the best travel blogs on curacao i have ever seen and i have worked in tourism for a long time props.. and hope you guys visit back one day
I know I already commented but I was able to continue watching and I just really want to say that this video was so amazing. The people of Curacao seem to be so passionate and beautiful, caring people. I really hope to meet the locals and enjoy as much as you did. !
This was soo good. My boyfriend is from there so I've been many times. Its so nice watching you do familiar things even though I'm in Europe. This is a nice change to watching you use seasoning I can't find to prevent struggle chicken! 😄😄

I believe this is the first curacao travel vlog in which I did not skip not even once. I love it! My husband is from here and you've captured many things most people don't intend to share with the world from this beautiful island. Also i too just recently tried one of those peanut butter cup tasting ice creams and it was amaaaazing.
I gotta say, this is the best vlog of Curaçao I’ve ever seen! I love it! You guys had an amazing host too! The best way to enjoy a country is doing it with a local person. Thank you for this, I missed my Island so much, you brought back memories🫶🏾

My words are not enough.♥️♥️♥️
What an amazing video of a culture and beautiful island of Curaçao. You and Jesse seem to have a great friendship. It is fun seeing it from the other side of the camera. As well as the interactions your family in other videos. 🙂 My family is from Puerto Rico, those iced peanut butter treats remind me of an iced treat in a cup my Abuelo makes called “limber”. Puerto Ricans also like to play dominos too.
After going back to curacao not being home for 10’years, You Guy’s have hit almost every Sweet spot there is on the island. Welcome to dushi Curacao 🎼👊🏽🎼
I love all of your videos, but I enjoyed this one immensely! The loving way you shared these people and their history that included food was spectacular! I learned a lot as well 😉
Amazing video! As a local i am very appreciative of the way you managed to capture the true essence of our culture. Not to mention the amazing video and editing quality. THank you for your visit, please come back soon!
Thank you for sharing with us! I've visited Aruba and always wanted to hop over and visit Curacao. Looks phenomenal! Shoutout to Jesse for doing an amazing job capturing this
From someone born and raised there, Thank You! You’ve highlighted all the things I love and miss about home. Most people that visit don’t take the time to truly experience the whole island and learning about our culture. It’s heartbreaking because many will never know what so many local people go through just so they can come and enjoy our little piece of paradise. So thank you very much from a island girl living in CA🙏🏽
This is one of the Best vlogs I've seen of Curacao! Well done, great editing.. and most of all I hope you enjoyed our little piece of Paradise. 🏝 * Curacao * 💖
Great video! I've been there for work, but I never got the chance to really have fun and experience the culture. I am definitely going back to visit; thanks to your video!
This is the best vlog that I have ever viewed. Not only did you introduce me to the island, it’s culture and history, but you made me want to book a trip. I’m coming this year with my husband. Thank you so much for asking great questions and explaining everything. You also have the best personality. New subscriber👏🏾
This is one of the best videos of the island I’ve seen…and I’ve visited Curacao 🇨🇼 5 times. Curacao is so unique and charming. Great recommendations guys!!!
This was an incredible vlog ! Listening to the history of this beautiful island got me so emotional at some points. What an experience! It’s incredible. Thanks so much for listing the places you visit. I am here because I am heading to curaçao for a week. You have gained a new subscriber, much love from Guyana 🇬🇾
Thanks for posting this vlog! I really enjoyed the tips on where to eat, and watching your experiences with the hosts/ chefs. Of all the videos I've watched about Curacao, this is the first I've seen of the cave/ cliff side diving experience! Thank you also for the footage and history in the slave trade museum. You make a good travel team!
I really enjoyed watching this video, thanks for sharing it. I'm visiting Curacao in september for the first and i know wich places we will be going to now. Thanks!
Yall are amazing storytellers. I just visited Curacao and loved it. Now after watching your video I realize I need to go back with a totally different itinerary! ❤❤❤ love your openness to the people and the culture
Thanks for the video because it more recent. You provided a lot of insight for local businesses and I'm truly looking forward to my upcoming trip to Curacao.
@@kevinacurry, my trip is in June but I've reserved a spot at Vittle Art. I can't wait to check out the local BBQ. I'll definitely return to this post and provide an update.
Fun Fact Gombo/Gumbo comes from West Africa and the Yambo/Jambo from Curacao is more similar to it being an actual Okra stew or soup. So as it's called Gumbo in Louisiana it just means Okra even though its not the traditional Okra stew. 😊
Researching for an upcoming trip and WOW this was so beautifully and respectfully done! You've managed to create such an immersive experience for us viewers. It didn't feel like just a travel vlog, but portrait of an absolutely beautiful place and even more beautiful people. Thank you for the care and intention you put into creating this.
I stumbled across this video while trying to plan a trip to Curacao and now I am even more excited to travel!!!! Can not wait until I can make this trip
Not going to lie it's probably going to be a few years before I can actually afford to make this trip but by the time I go I will know everything about the island and everything I must do and places I must eat while there.
EXCELLENT job on the video. You managed to capture everything my husband loved about our first trip to Curaçao last year. We are very much looking forward to being back this year. It's a truly special place with amazing people.
This video was incredible, thank you so much for showing my beautiful dushi island in such a way. I am happy you had a great local experience and hope it inspires more people to do the same.
You are a true artist and I really, really appreciate this video. Showcasing these beautiful people, their passions & businesses is a win for all! I have been vacillating between traveling to 3 different places at the end of the month. This video made my choice--Curacao it is!!!! I will certainly eat at some of these places. Traveling from Texas and will definitely try the BBQ you highlighted.
It’s soooo crazy I’m just seeing this video pop up on my timeline. I saw your face. I’m like I know this guy…ironically my man asked me where I wanted to go for our anniversary next week and I said CURAÇAO. I’ve been obsessed with this place for the last 3 years!! So now I’m watching the video and I’ve been following you on the gram for about 3 or 4 years! I wasn’t even subscribed to you on here! 😂😂😂😂 so I’ll take this as confirmation that this is we’re I need to be….oh and I’ll follow you now. ❤️
Hey guys, this has got to be the best travel vlog I've ever had the pleasure of watching. The genuine happiness you guys convey shows. If you don't mind me asking, how much was it for your full stay in Curacao? Curacao is where our honeymoon will be and I want to show my soon to be wife a similar experience. Thanks!

Your next trip with your husband should be on the motherland (Africa) Ghana 🇬🇭 since that was the most head quarters the slave tread happened.
Ow wow, that means you haven't been there in a while neither, correct?
