@@jlw7441 We haven't stayed at any of the hotels in Curacao. And our budget Airbnb is probably not what you are looking for if you budget is $300. We hate recommending things that we haven't tried personally so I would say reading hotel user reviews is a better way to judge then our blind guess.

David is every where I go, so it's impossible to know how men would treat me if I was a solo female traveler. I learned this the hard way in other countries when I had to go out alone because David was sick. It's crazy but it's a totally different experience when I go out solo. I didn't go out solo in Curacao though so I have idea what it would have been like.

We were there in February and enjoyed our stay. The food was incredibly good but super expensive.
