I remember these Mustangs had the best sound with Flowmasters. It's what turned me on to Flow's.
Damn right...I remember when I was a kid me n my dad would go somewhere and I would beg him to drive the Mustang
My senior year in high school I drove an '89 LX hatchback... I installed Flowmasters, many compliments on how good it sounded!
I miss these mustangs my mom had one a long time ago 😎😎👍
Glad I could help stir up a good memory, appreciate your viewership here on the Samspace81 classic car channel Kevin
Brought mine new in '91...still got it til this day but with a lot more Horsepower
love it, glad you held onto it
Brings back memories when my dad had his
Good stuff Ethan, appreciate you
always liked the fox body stangs
i had a 93 notchback 5.0 triple black convertible, it was wicked fast.
Me too! I had an '89 LX hatchback in high school. You notchback guys thought you were too cool with your lightweight 'stangs haha Enjoy the channel!
I have a 90 5.0 LX sedan or notch back or what ever they call those. Bought it new in
1990 and it has just under 11K miles and is that clean. I keep forgetting the car is now 27 years old. I guess these are getting to be rare birds in really good condition.
Do you still have it?
Hope you still have it $$$$$
@@samspace81 Yes, I still have it. In fact, I really need to fire it
up and take it out of the garage and for a drive.
so hard to find a nice unmolested 5.0 these days.
It really is. That is what impresses me about this car. It has 21,000 original miles on it. Enjoy the channel and be sure to subscribe if you haven't.
samspace81 Thank you🌹
@Totally Anonymous Man keep it stock. I can tell you that as a person who has bought and sold 15 fox bodies in the last 20 years they are getting rarer and rarer as the years go by.
i love my 1990 LX hatchback
Sweet, I use to have an 89 LX hatch in high school, wish I still had it
soo cool!
My dad has a 1990 lx, we recently put in a new motor putting out 50-80 more horsepower. It haf the same red color as this but we had it painted grabber blue, black molding and then grabber blue below that. Grabber blue hood with black colinduction, blacked out headlights and black cheese grader taillights, with black Shelby Cobra rims + much more after market parts
Bought a 92 lx hatchback monday great price original windows decals n all insides there great condition even tarp cover for hatch area but is a damn 4 auto is this a model worth modification??
Thanks 4 sharing 🐎
Beautiful fox body, I’m trying to find one similar now-90-93, 5 speed, all stock, no mods of any kind, & documented low mileage. The ones I’ve seen so far that are immaculate are going for mid $20K to $70K. I know......crazy, right?
Yes! I know I 've been watching them sell crazy, I recommend PC Classic Cars in Sherman, Texas.
I have a 90 gt and its about the same color maybe a little bit lighter red with gray (its 2 tone) but I'm going to be putting the lx kit on it soon and painting it and if everything goes as planned it should look about the same as this one.
Thats cool!! Good luck with it buddy. Enjoy the channel and thanks for the comment.
This takes me back, '90 was when I graduated high school and this was the car you saw all the time.
Very nice condition, what was the asking price?
This is my dream car but twilight blue
Great ride & color! Apprecitae you
I had an 87 with pulleys and 3.73's wasn't much at the time that could get me off the dig.
Very cool, had an 89 LX 5.0 myself in high school. Thanks for watching & commenting
Cabernet Red sexiness
You ain't lying
I'd drive it till the wheels fell off I'd have to
Memorable survivor
If this was mine this would have a terminator swap with a procharger at 1,000 hp with the same stock but inside high performance this is a clean fox body mustang 5.0
Ultimate Sleeper! Thanks for watching Samspace81 Keith
How much?
Is that color wild strawberry EL or medium cabernet EH?
tyler45acp I believe that is Wild Strawberry because it looks identical to my '90 LX hatchback with color code EL with the white pinstripe and black molding. Don't quote me on that though because both colors looks fairly similar.
Mine is med cabernet and it looks a lot like it.
I had mine repainted the stock cabernet red color back in 2013 and boy do I love it. It's a real head turner to this day. I hope you hold on to your foxbody as these babies are only going to go up in value.
Here is mine:

Very cool they sure have gained value too
@@samspace81 yes sir, in fact I just had the car repainted again. Last year i went with an amber apple red pearl. Not as deep as Cabernet red but much more beautiful IMHO. I should upload a new video of it too.
90-93 mustangs sucked visually! No tilt wheel because of the air bag, the steering wheel was pretty big and ugly. The cool
high back buckets gone also. . .I think the hp was even decreased from previous years.
I had an 89 LX 5.0 hatch in high school and considered it the best year besides a '93 Cobra of the Fox bodies. Thanks for checking it out!
Great looking, mega-clean LX ! Actually, I think the 1986 GT, when they first went to fuel injection and changed the head design, the car dropped to 200hp (from the 210hp GT in 1985). But, after that, FORD fixed the head design and the Stang GT/LX's were putting out 225hp from 1987 all the way until the 93 Cobra came out. I have a 1985 "Oxford White GT Hatchback" and it has all the normal top end bolt-ons (Head porting, SVO 1.72 rockers, Edelbrock Performer Dual-plane Intake/ 600 cfm Carb, JBA Baby Headers 1-5/8 (and bottom end : Sub-frames / South Side Machine (SSM) Traction bars, 2-1/2 inch M.A.C. H-pipe, with Flowmaster 44 series, exhaust. It's waaaaay more fun than stock!
Arthur Kurtzhall 93 had it dropped to 215 from 225 and you could feel the difference
@@florimshala1 this is incorrect. 1987 and early 1988 cars were the only 225 HP cars. In 1989 ford switched to a quieter, less aggressive cam, but also to the more efficient mass-air fueling. Only 1-2 HP was lost. In 1993, Ford switched to hyper-eutectic sintered pistons shared with the Cobra, instead of the forged types, but HP did not change....not ideal for supercharging. From 87 to 93, all cars dyno'd 190HP to the wheel. Ford changed its dyno method in the early 90s. That's why the power numbers changed. The best year in my opinion is '89 due to the tweed seats with higher head rests and adjustable leg supports, and better quality climate controls. Other than bigger fender wheel arches on the 91-93, airbags, and some minor interior tweaks like darker dash plastic, the cars are identical for the entire production run.
Fancy Animal dude the 93 mustang 5.0 compared to a 91 was huge difference i had one of both years 93 sucked
URANUS GTA 4
Nice ha
Sounds horrible
Its an original car, maybe its my old camera lol thanks Rob, enjoy the Samspace81 channel.
Great car, horrible color.
Eh probably not my first choice either. Thanks for following Samspace81
The worst design ever the Mustang made.
In my opinion the 87-93 are the best looking Mustang's ever.
Nah
