    We have been going there since the 1970's The area outside the door was blue from the old turquoise mine. Inside there were steel cot frames we used. Then in the 1980's the state graded the road for 'anyone' to come in. We went in and there were several vans full of 'hippies'. Next day the place was littered with dirty diapers, needles and hypodermic syringes, all the turquoise was gone and the metal cots were gone. Beautiful place...one year it snowed several inches at the end of May!

      Seems like all the wonderful places eventually get over run with people who don’t think about those who will visit after them. The galiuros are my favorite range in the entire state. Very ominous history that so little people these days know of.

      Most certainly was a gorgeous drive! More low and slow than I was expecting, usually far more prepared I always bring a back up ribeye in case of extended day trips. Appreciate the compliments!

    Hey I appreciate seeing south Arizona again. I was fortunate enough to hunt and trap some mtn ranges there, let’s see if I can mangle some of the names. Las wejas, bobaqeuvari where the observatory is located and the cerro colorados all south of Tucson and casa grande very near Mexico border. Wildlife was plentiful and the land is beautiful. Robles junction was a tiny town I remember down there. I’m 60 now and reside in my home state of Colorado. My state is ruined with the influx of people most of the liberal persuasion. I miss Arizona and it’s beauty. Hope to return again. IMO your video would be better showing less of the ride in and more of the destination. I would have liked more info on the history and like to have seen hot springs you mentioned. The road you were traveling was a paved hwy compared to the hell that is a western Colo lava boulder feild road so the travel part was a little monotonous. Have you been to sheep’s crossing and the hot springs there? Looks like you have a fun crew and a lovely wife not to mention the dog ( my favorite). Peace to you and yours in this crazy time of our country.

      Thank you for watching! I’ve been up to sheep’s bridge many years ago and will likely return this winter, far too hot in that area for summer time travels.

    Will 35’s fit with the stock suspension? RW brother here. Thanks!

    • @Whitedogoverland
      @Whitedogoverland  Год назад +2

      In the rear Forsure, but front likely not. You can get away with 2.5” up front to clear 35s with some negative offset it won’t rub at all. Certainly easier to fit 35s on tundras over tacos!
