On a different note, I have been amused for years how Arthur Baker (ie the writer of the song), a long haired white man who always looked like he should be connected with white rock bands, managed to be at the epicenter of iconically black music from hip-hops inception, and for years after. Eu chegava da aula à noite (Terceirão - Antigo segundo grau) e, começava a ouvir rádio. Na minha opinião, às décadas de 60, 70, 80 e 90, são as melhores, no que se refere as grandes canções.
