Wowzers, I love this idea and the owl is adorable!
Thank you so much! I couldn't decide between own and a turtle and as you can see the owl won! Have a beautiful weekend!
It’s very pretty thank you very much for sharing your wonderful craft woks 👍🌹❤️
Thank you so much, my friend!! So happy that you enjoyed it!
I can’t even believe I missed watching this video. Lol. Love those as all of your creations. The Stream alcohol ink is my absolute favorite color of inks!! Love the little owl charm too !! ❤
I guess I did watch this because I commented haha. But forgot to hit like 😅😂
Oh you just crack me up! You are so awesome! Thanks for watching it again! Hugs
Embossing folders a a staple for clay crafting. I don’t even do paper craft, but I have a ton of embossing folders lol this is a good example of what to do with embossing. Beautiful, and I like the owl, but I favor owls, elephants, and hahha teapots. What a combination to love. lol I have a bunch of elephant teapots and 2 owl teapots. Always fun to include fun critters into a teapot. 🤣🤣 I love this fun jewelry. Tfs hugs
Thank you so much, Karen! I really need to experiment with all my other folders! Owls and elephants and tea pots! That's awesome! You would think that its difficult to find elephant and owl teapots!
@@joannascorner4478 not to hard. lol but I have over 500 teapots all over I keep trying to make them all in their own category’s I have all my Christmas ones on one shelf, other holidays on their own shelf’s, little houses, and so on. I do have some rather fun ones that look like purses, or chairs one that is a sink. Some of them can crack you up from the looks of them. lol 😂 I have no clue if they are worth anything, I just love collecting them. And the crazier the teapot the better I like them. lol I can’t even say I have a favorite. lol because each are unique. Always fun. Yes grab all you crazy embossing folders and have fun. I do. lol
How fun! You have some collection!
Amazing and so lovely. Love the 3 colors together and I hope I have that Embossing folder.
Ida Rogers
Thank you Ida! I love those colors! If It was my choice I would have all my pendants that color!! You can do it with any other embossing folder and it would be just as lovely.
Pretty! I have quite a few embossing cards. I'll give this a try this weekend. I'll share with you.
Thank you so much, Cathy!! And yes, please send me pictures!
Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, Kathy, for watching! Have a beautiful weekend, my friend!
I love the way you make gorgeous pendants and jewelry with small bits of clay! Thanks for the tutorial?
Thank you so much, Gloria! Hope you enjoyed it! You really don't need much for a pretty creation!
Yes Newbie to Your Channel!
Thank you so much!
Very nice, love the combo of color and sheen…
Thank you so much! These my favorite colors and the shimmer makes everything look better!
I started out paper crafting too! I love using my embossing folders for clay! I can do either a positive image or a negative image. Love that. The 3D embossing folders are awesome to use too! And your project is GORGEOUS!
Thank you so much, Jodie! I thought that trying out jewelry is easier for paper crafters than other crafters, don't you agree? I use alcohol inks and mica on my greeting cards. I will have to use my 3d folder in the upcoming jewelry projects! Have a great weekend, my friend!
loved your piece thanks for sharing
Thank you so much, Maggie, for watching!
Another beautiful video! The embossing folders are fantastic on clay. You should do another one using the pearls alcohol inks. 😉
Yes I should! I just don't have the pearl alcohol inks BUT it's a good reason to get some! Thank you so much, my friend!
I love love those colors you choose. Beautiful!! I don’t have any emboss folders but have to get me some. They are so great to use ! ❤️♥️🥰
Thank you so much, Gaby! I think you and I are drawn to the same colors! Embossing folders are so great for paper crafting and as you can see for jewelry making. They are way cheaper than stamps. I have never tried to do mica shift with them so maybe I should try it. They are not as deep as stamps so I wonder if mica shift would come out good. Thank you so much for always being so wonderful! Have a great weekend!
Absolutely beautiful love the technique ❤️
Thank you so much, Inez!
Very cool. ❤️
Thank you so much, Darla!
Soooo beautiful!😍
Thank you so much Susan! I really love the colors of those alcohol inks!
Loved your demo! I too am a paper crafter (DT for Visible Image here in the UK) - can’t believe how much of my papercrafting stuff I can use with clay! I play with polymer and silver clay. Tell me, you didn’t show the back of the pendant - I’m presuming you have to be careful not to let the alcohol ink bleed underneath the edges and get on the back or doesn’t it matter? Thankyou for another fab tutorial xxxx
Yay! Another paper crafter!! isn't just so great that we can transition into jewelry making with stuff that we have at home already?!?! I am the absolute worst about showing the back of my pendants and I really need to be better about it so thank you reminding me that people want to see the back as well. Since I baked the clay first and then used alcohol inks on top, there is no bleeding of alcohol ink so my back looks just like baked translucent clay. If any of the alcohol ink gets on it, you can simply sand it down and it is clean. I'm not sure if you are on instagram but I could send you picture there. Just send me a DM under Joannas Corner. Thank you so much for watching, my friend!
So beautiful.❤
Thank you, Marisol!
I was so curious about if you were going to let the water in the mica power dry before going forward. The alcohol in the ink would be enough to help dry the moisture out. I’ve never seen anything done like you have done these. It’s always good to learn a different way. I absolutely LOVE THE WAY THAT THESE CAME OUT, so much that I subscribed to your channel!
Welcome, Renda! Thank you for joining my channel! Hope you find a bunch of fun projects here! Don't you just love alcohol inks and mica? ! So fun to play with! Till next video, my friend!
Thanks for the inspiration, I‘m going to break out my embossing folders now. Where do you get your charms from?
Kristy, I'm so happy that I have inspired you! Embossing folders are fantastic! I'm not sure if you watched my today's video as well where I was using embossing folder as well. You can get the charms from Amazon. Just search under charms for jewelry making. Let me know if you are having problem finding them and I will search on my end. Have a beautiful day, my friend!
This is so pretty!! Love it 😍
Thank you so much, Kelly! Greatly appreciate your kind words!
Gorgeous
Thank you, my friend! I have a soft spot for greens and blues...
Beautiful colors! I’m wondering if you think this technique would work similarly if I used white clay instead of translucent or if you think translucent is the best for this project? Thanks!
Thank you so much, my friend! I think it will work just fine with white. Let me know how it turns out! I'm sure it is going to be beautiful!
Very pretty, what does the back look like?
Thank you so much! I just left it translucent color, which is the color that the pendant was once it came out of the oven. I got a little smidge of alcohol ink on it but I sanded it down and it looks great. Thank you fur bringing it to my attention that I should show the back of my pieces. I just get distracted by the bling in the front of the pendant. Have a great weekend!
@@joannascorner4478 thank you for letting me know.
It’s gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. Can you tell me the name of the embossing folder you used please?
Hello my friend! Thank you so much ! The folder is made by Cuttlebugg an DC it is called Bubbles. I just searched it online in hope to get you a link but I was not successful. However, there were some similar ones that popped up on Amazon. Let me know if you need more help finding something similar. Have a wonderful weekend, Manola!
@@joannascorner4478 Thank you so much! Enjoy your weekend Joanna!
The mica powder might not make any difference now but over time when the alcohol ink starts to fade it will shine through and stop the pendant looking faded.
That is so great! I didn't know that it would do it! Thank you so much for sharing that info!
Also u can add couple drops of alcohol ink to u mica powder
And paint and seal with either liquid clay or else uv resin u will have more shimmer and permanent
