It's a bit as if a tourist suddenly dropped an "indubitably" or "inexorable" in everyday conversation. Those words are used here and there, but still advanced enough that you'd notice even if a native speaker used them.
@@BeatPeet With a bit of added humor since she used it correctly while rejecting the notion that her Japanese is all that good. It has the vibes of someone responding to "your English is pretty good" with "perish the thought, my oratory skills are inadequate".
Pretty sure my English is better than the average native English speaker's. Especially compared to Americans. American zoomers are even worse at speaking proper (or even basic) English, thanks to growing up on rap and ghetto culture that has been the dominating American culture for the past 10-15 years. So, an ESL guy like me who learned English systematically and formally, and without much corruption from colloquial influence, knows the language better than native speakers. It's probably the same for Anya and her Japanese.
She's a goddess ... His omniscient grant her the ability to understand all her JP kouhai's language, including Miko's Elitenesse ... I wonder if she also understand Chloe's writting ...
Wouldn't that make both Hololive and even Miko herself the enemy then? Welp, figured out what Sora is building a guild for. Not at all a means of raising her own private army to wage war on the world for making fun of Miko. Nope. Not at all. I didn't say anything.
Well, people forget that when you learn an outside language, you tend to study the phonetics and formal usages of the liguistics more properly than a native speaker. So Anya may have that as a learned tertiary language or second, while Miko as a native speaker drops formality in her language. My native language is English so I use that informality consistently, and it's hard to break habit. It's just natural for when you know your own language well enough, to not speak it fluently, that you have tendencies to disregard the proper forms unless it's for work/whatever setting appropriate.
This. But considering Japanese themselves are impressed it's safe to say Anya get down their phonetics right to the point sounded native. Even Coco have noticeable accents regarding this.
@@davidtogi5878 I'm guessing this is a joke? But, I'll treat it as if it is otherwise. The point I made is because you get so accustomed to the rules of your own language, that you tend to 'break' them to be more relaxed outside of that setting. I even made it a point as part of the last sentence above already. I personally have a minor in writing and know the rules fairly well, but outside of an established environment where it matters like school or work for example, ordinarily, some people, like myself, just get too relaxed at times outside of that. While grammatically wrong in parts in that previous sentence, I made it easy to digest by the usage of commas. Another example is vocally, where you'd use words that aren't in the English proper lexicon but are used frequently like "ain't", "gonna", and etc. When you learn outside languages, like while I'm currently studying Arabic, I'd understand the language on a deeper level and focus on those rules more keenly since those are very important to the culture and apprehension of that language specifically. I can't verify this is as a full fact for everyone on this Earth learning outside languages, but I'm trying to set a baseline comparison to benefit Miko compared to Anya in this specific instance.
I barely even know my own native language, I can speak it for daily use since I use it with instinct if I think I will have a hard time, and I might as well be illiterate at it, I at most as good as a 2nd or 3rd grader, hell I don't even know how to say Purple in my own native language

@@Bah_duku Yes, OP is talking about another company.
