OMG! Where have you been hiding. I have been watching videos on soap making for a couple months and this is by far the best one yet! I say this because you are so free and giving with your advice. Thank you
Thank you so much for this video! I find myself constantly going back to your previous vids in order to "refresh" my brain on what I believe to be some of the best melt and poor techniques available! Add to that how excited I am over that cutter...can't wait til they're available for purchase! ✨
Such good info. Of course M&P is my only love. So much to learn from you. Letting the soap breathe for a few days before packaging is vital. Thanks for the tip.
Thank you so much for this video. Being new to soap-making I have ended up with a lot of little 'extras' and wondered how to use them up. I really appreciate you sharing your talent. Regards
Louise, please tell me you are still selling the wonderful soap cutter in this video!! And at what cost. Love your videos. You do a great job!!! Thank you!
Loved the video. Hubby used your method to make some Mardi Gras soap. White base with the green, purple, tan and others color shreds - look great. Live in SW Louisiana so very popular. We are interested in the soap cutter you show in the video. Got a website or link to the store you sell these at? Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I am newbie about to start making my own soap. I love your videos so informative... How do you measure for amount of base to pour over curls? Thank you. You have inspired me
I love the soap cutter!! I’ve read many of the comments that other like it also! Please tell me where I can buy one. Thanks so much for your wonderful videos! So informative! What would I do without them!
Hi Louise! I’ve watched all your videos and I love the amount of advice you give in them. Would like to ask if you still have your forum. I looked on Facebook and couldn’t find it. Can you tell me how you store the extra soap curls and shreds without them losing moisture. I just made a loaf soap with shreds. You speak of having extra curls and shreds stored. That is Video 105. Thanks so much for all your hard work. We appreciate you!!
Great idea now one question what soap shreads to you use. Can I use any soap from the dollar store the good ones tho they have nice oatmeal ones i can use and add a goat's milk base is that a possibly? And no curing correct?
Hi Louise, thank you for your response I hope you are feeling better. I made this soap over the weekend, unfortunately it didn't turned out that good. I'm going to give it another try one of this days. Another thing I would like to know is what do you use to make your curls, I use a regular grader but they are too small and I use the big size.
I use a hand grader for years, make sure the soap is dry & hard before making the curls...I now use an electric grater for food as I use a ton of it...lol. Keep trying you'll get it. Come join our fb group we have tons of pictures for inspiration, knowledgeable Admins and friendly members to help in your journey.
Hi there....thank u so much for your videos!!! Couple questions please...do u dry your shreds before using? I am finding mine are so gummy . Also I would love to see a video on how you make the single flower mold with the shreds in them please. I love your videos!!!!
I am a new soaper and this technique is the only one I have " mastered" thus far. With that being said I am a HORRIBLE cutter. Can you please tell me where You got your cutter. I have been doing alot of research for the purpose of purchase; but thus far have not found one to fit my needs, but I very much like yours. Additionally thank you for the soaping tips..I'm afraid I've had a few disasters...hence how I learned this technique. Thanks.
Louise, I just received my large haul of melt and pour soap plus a Bud Haffner cutter. I think I got the wrong percent of rubbing alcohol. Please, please tell me if 91% alcohol will be harmful in the melt and pour soap. Would appreciate so much! Desperate!!
Hey Louise! Another GREAT video! Love your new workshop :) Tell us all about that soap cutter! Did your BF make it for you? If so, he will have a lot of orders!! I think you should start selling those.... pleeeeaaazzzzeeee..... :)

RA is sprayed to knock down any air bubbles it's also used as a glue for embeds and helps the liquid soap base move in between the embeds. Thanks for watching.
get your base up to at least 150 degrees, see if it's more liquid play around with the temps to see how high it will go...before burning do small batches
It's funny you asked that question, I just picked up another wholesale account yesterday. I will do a video on it next week. It's really very easy if you have your packaging, labels, and designs and you are friendly...it's not rocket science anyone can do it if you have the desire to sell. Thanks for responding.

I think you forgot to answer about the soap bouquet?
No, I've never made a soap bouquet before, but I'm sure someone in our group has, we might even have pictures in our files....you might take a look. If you 'd like to join us the link is above in the description of this video. Thanks for watching.
Is your soap curls made from left over soap or can you buy them?
No you can’t buy them but you can make them with a soap gone wrong or something you don’t like. I use whatever I have available new soap or something that didn’t sell.
Is the shredded soap also melt and pour or a cold process soap?
Hi, love your videos! Thank you! How long can you keep the imbeds? Thanks.
As long as they are kept dry and out of light a couple of years, thanks for watching.
Hi Where can I get the mold your using? Thanks in advance
They don't sell the green molds anymore....they come in white and are available at most soap vendors websites. Thanks for watching.

Hello. Have you started selling that cutter yet?? I am interested in purchasing one. I'm in the Bay Area...
do you make your shreds with clear or white soap?
Love your videos....how do you do your soap curls? And what base did you use? Huge fan. Always forget about the men's items....good reminder
two ways to do soap curls by hand with a grater (large side) or electric salad shooter, thanks for watching.
I use an electric salad shooter for curls for years I use a regular grater I use SFIC bases, thanks for watching come join our group on facebook.
Good one..thx
Very pretty 😀 where you're cutter come from ?
I designed the cutter and it's at the shop being made hopefully will be selling soon.
where did you get the tool to cut your soap
I designed it and will be selling it soon. Thanks for watching.
Thanks. Newbie here. What is the purpose of spraying the alcohol in your base before pouring, please? ❤️💐
RA is sprayed to knock down any air bubbles it's also used as a glue for embeds and helps the liquid soap base move in between the embeds. Thanks for watching.
805Soap Thank You. ❤️
I spray (cut Soaps).... with alcohol then let dry. To prevent sweating.
My m&p soap would have thicken & turned goopy; how do you keep yours in the liquid state for so long...maybe I'm not heating it up enough?
Yep, it has to get to the melting point to stay fluid...Thanks for watching.
Thanks; I just check the supplier site for the soap & it doesn't list a melting point...is there a standard one for most m&p bases?
get your base up to at least 150 degrees, see if it's more liquid play around with the temps to see how high it will go...before burning do small batches
Danielle C where are you getting your base from
SFIC you can buy it from Brambleberry or other vendors. Thanks for watching.
You are wonderful
perhaps you can show us how you clean your soap. Can you talk to us about how to get a wholesale account.
Great idea, I'll start making the videos this week. Thanks for watching.
805Soap I'm interested in a how to on wholesale too! or now that I'm making, where do I start selling?
It's funny you asked that question, I just picked up another wholesale account yesterday. I will do a video on it next week. It's really very easy if you have your packaging, labels, and designs and you are friendly...it's not rocket science anyone can do it if you have the desire to sell. Thanks for responding.

I made a video about using a salad shooter, look at some of my older videos. Come join our group on facebook the link is in the description. Thanks for watching.
