But then, even if the casualty medical officer makes adverse remarks on the medico legal case register, nothing happens to the officers. Almost every patient in the hospital prison ward has incapacitating fractures with no one to attend to them. The system is inimical to all the abuse wrought on folks in police custody.

The police, who deal with criminals of various hues, can justify their (police's) tough handling of people during interrogation to bring out the truth as part of their job and it's acceptable and makes sense!

The advocate,who claims to be an eye witness for brutel attack should have informed the matter to higher-ups or at least before magistrate at the time of remand .But he did not take any concrete action. He is making false statement that , the deceased person's were questioned by magistrate about injury and torture by police. The truth is that the magistrate remanded the injured without seeing the injured and flouted the procedure to be ferformed ,while remanding the accued. Most of the lower court magistrate and Doctor's are dancing to the tunes of police and deliberately avoiding to record ,what the injured person's are saying.If the magistrate discharged his statutory function sincerely, the death of innocent two person's would have been avoided.Action should be taken against the magistrate and Govt Doctor along with the rowdy police personals.
