So this is typically north East Indian food. Specifically, Naga style. We eat with our hands. Axone is fermented soya beans and it is pretty funky to smell but tastes beautiful. I'm so surprised these guys are making this dish!!! That's crazy.
There were days when sumis were looked down, teased and made fun for eating AXONE. There was also a song for sumis "axone khai khai sema manu khai khai" and now axone has become international. My mum is Sumi so I'm privilege enough to enjoy AXONE all the time.
