Most of the optional caves have a boss that's tied to a side quest. But there are a couple here and there that are just there for chests and a few unique enemies if you're going for 100% achievements.
Also, most of the time, after you beat the boss of the area, it becomes a low-chance regular encounter in that area, which means it's possible to capture it with H'annit. The Leviathan is one such enemy. But there's only, like, a 3% chance to encounter it, and the capture rate is also going to be low. So it's up to you if you want to go for it.
I also recently learned that it's possible (but low chance) to capture Caits! Their skill gives you a pretty good buff, or so I hear. I never tried it, personally.
I did look up the Caits and did see you could capture them but I never have H’annit in the party when I encounter them😅
@@MNIDakota Same, tbh. The first time I played, I chose H'annit as my main, and quickly got annoyed playing her. Cyrus will always be my favorite.
