- We were getting tired of top 10 videos about places when they were obviously made by someone who has never even been there. The script was written by AI, and the footage was downloaded from a stock footage site. So, we spent weeks exploring Krabi to give you this comprehensive guide on what to do here and what we think are 7 TOP places to see when you come to Krabi Thailand.

ขอบคุณครับ
Wonderful video with great suggestions. I am visiting Thailand next week, so I will try to cover atleast 4-5 of these. I had a doubt, which I feel you may be able to clear.
Did you visit Hong Island?
I was planning my trip and have a plan to spend 2 days in Koh Phi Phi and 1.5 days in Railay/ Ao Nang. So, I was thinking if I should make Hong Island a part of my itinerary, after having visited Maya Bay and a lot of other beaches in Phi Phi. What would you suggest?
This would take half a day from the 1.5 days I have planned to stay at Railay.
Hi. Thank you for your lovely comment. Unfortunately, we haven't been to Hong Island, so we can't say if it's worth the tour, but it does look nice from the videos we have seen. Take into consideration that the tour, with preparations, boarding, waiting on other people, etc., may take more than half a day, and you will probably be pretty tired from the boat ride when you come back. It also depends on what your travel style is. For us, 1.5 days on Railay would be the bare minimum (there are three beautiful beaches, fun bars and restaurants, hikes to viewpoints, mountain climbing, and kayak rentals), but we like to travel pretty slowly. You should be able to book a trip to Hong Islands on Railay Beach if you don't like it there(at least a private boat). Hope this helps; we wish you a fun trip, and if you have any other questions, feel free to write a comment.
One more thing. If you are planning to visit the hot springs, emerald pool, and Tiger Cave temple, we would recommend booking a tour that will take you to them in one day. We rode there on our scooter, and it wasn't a fun ride as it's pretty far and the rode wasn't the safest.
@@CzechingTheWorld Hi there! Did you rent a scooter there, and other places in Thailand? I've read that you need an international driver's permit, but did you need a motorcycle license from your country?
Hi. We actually learned how to drive a scooter on Koh Lanta. We have an International Driver's License (IDP, which is easy to obtain and we recommend you to have it), but no motorcycle license from our country. From our understanding, you should have an IDP and a motorcycle license from your country because if you get stopped by the police, you may get fined for not having it. If you cause any accidents, you will be automatically blamed, and there is a high chance your travel insurance won't cover you in case of an accident.
With that being said, most of the people that drive here don't have a motorcycle license and have never had any problems. No one checks it when you rent the scooter, and the police care mainly if you have a helmet and are not under the influence of any drugs. Riding a scooter is our favorite activity to do in Thailand, and even though there are some risks involved, we would recommend it to everyone who is smart enough to drive carefully, with a helmet, not drunk, or under the influence of any other drug. Hope this helps, and have a fun trip to Thailand.
@@CzechingTheWorld Thank you so much for the info, that's helpful! Really enjoying your videos
