    This is an amazing video and it’s definitely helping me clarify a lot of things! But does anyone see something occasionally flashing on the bottom of the screen. It looks upside down and like a guy (prob heimler) in front of a bookshelf?

      Yeah I had a little glitch in these first units. I fixed it by the later units

    Will any skills transfer from WHAP and APUSH to AP gov?

      Definitely! Most specifically, supporting an argument with evidence.

    Is ap gov the same as ap comp gov and politics?

    • @heimlershistory
      @heimlershistory  3 года назад +9

      No those are two different courses. AP Gov focuses on U.S. government and politics. Comparative looks at six other governments across the world.

    How are lame ducks defined exactly? My teacher said it was somebody who had lost the election but was still the president due to the 2.5 months between election day and inauguration day. Considering what you said about Obama, this seems to have been incorrect. How does AP gov define the term?

      Both are correct I believe; lame duck just means you're still in office but are guaranteed not to be at a set point in the future, whether because you lost the re-election, chose not to run, or aren't qualified to due to term limits.

    You don’t seem to realize Obama was a lame duck and Trump wasn’t. Also Garland wouldn’t have been confirmed anyways if the hearings were held.
