    There are a bunch of major updates you need to do after a Mobian instalation. Run sudo apt update then run sudo apt dist-upgrade then run sudo apt autoremove from the teminal. Don't let your phone screen go to sleep during this process or it could lock you out. See the Mobian blog for more info. It will really improve the way your phone runs.

    Thanks for making the video, I just recived my PinePhone today, and have already trashed the installed mobian install, it's taking 3:30 minutes from unlocking the drive to booting to the PIN screen, I'm flashing the latest mobian back on to it.

    Ubuntu Touch is the best bet for almost daily-driver ready PinePhone. It is one of the very few distros that has full Hardware-accelerated video encoding, even on its web-browser. RUclips can run at 720p60 with decent performance afaik.
