I am definitely not a conspiracy guy and I think that there is a good chance that he just like Kurt Cobain killed himself because he was in a relationship with someone who was taking his soul and also had guilt issues about repeated relapses. It's really a shame.

Soundgarden played some of the mightiest rock and roll ever. Absolutely skull-crushing.
There’s many of their songs that I would consider to even be heavy metal. Such a versatile band.
I am so glad and thankful that we got to enjoy Chris for so long as compared to his peers like Layne, Andy Wood and Kurt Cobain. Love ya Chris.
