  • This is it! It’s finished, I’m done! The Final Cut of this video! I wanted to make one last version of this video with the release of Life On Our Planet and make a few more minor alterations. Now it’s finally done!
With the the massive success of Prehistoric Planet, my love for all things dinosaur has been at an all time high! I’ve always loved tribute style videos and cool edits that people have made in the past and I’ve always had ideas for such kinds of videos but I’m only now learning how to go through with them. I’m learning and I’m not working with much at the moment so bare with me if anything my not be up to standard with other creators, I’m really tryin my best lol! Anyway, I wanted to create a compilation style edit with all my favorite, best, and most influential (in my opinion) pieces of Paleomedia media but I was missing music. That is until David Attenborough in the Prehistoric Planet S2 intro spoke the words, “Journey to a time when nature put on its greatest show.” And then I knew exactly what had to be done!
This was a multi-day effort but it was so worth it and I’m incredibly proud of the end result! I hope y’all enjoy it as much as I do!

As good as the previous video and likely the best tribute to paleomedia so far. I like you included footage from Life On Our Planet since it's likely the last big prehistory documentary we're gonna have in a while. Great job, as with the previous video the part from 4:28 to 4:50 is my favorite.

@@gladiolus5377 people like Prehistoric Park, I'm saying we bring it back with some faux-Jurassic Park "we found dna and recreated them" basis with the most accurate models we can. The draw of the show is that the whole thing will be presented like a real research facility/facilities, with webcam footage of the animals in the specially constructed habitats with 'rangers' narrating over what the animal is doing/why they are doing it, like you'd see at a real zoo. the whole production would be presented to sell the idea these are real facilities in the real world, and the webcam style allows for the narrator to share their personality like we saw with Nigel Marvin's time travel advantures

Great video. I got chills at the climax of the song, then sadness when it ended and showed sad scenes like the deaths of Big Al and the old Alamosaurus from PhP and the ending of The Last Tyrant. Truly a love letter to paleomedia.
I'm surprised you didn't use footage from Prehistoric Park or the BBC Sea Monsters tho.

But I guess my last one was also a tribute to a whole bunch of different paleo-media things in a way 🦕
