Thanks so much for this review! I was considering a couple of T6 Mini for the kitchen, to replace a single Anker SoundCore Boost, to get a better stereo soundstage... but your sound quality comparison helped me steer clear of that disaster! The T6 Plus is way more expensive but truly night and day in comparison, especially lower bass. I guess I'll dig deep for a change and do it right with the T6 Plus :)
i have the t6mini and all that he said on his review is correct. it has a smaller battery but still manages to play 24hrs on 50% volume. balanced sound across the frequency spectrum tnx to its funnel design reflector to make it trully a 360 speaker.
@@umerbest9949 yes but considering the T6mini have bigger driver than the T6 Plus it still have power throughout the 24hr playback hours claimed by tronsmart.
Great video. Good job. Please could tell me the difference between the T6plus and the updated version. Is it just the NFC? Which will you recommend. Thanks.
Thank you. The differences are 1. NFC and 2. Design. The buttons are a bit different and the plastic trim is too. It just looks a bit different that's all
Hello, are these speakers can be charged with usb c to usb c cable? Did you also try that? I appreciate if you try and answer my comment! Nice review btw
InsideTech, we have 2 Tronsmart T6 mini blue tooth speakers. I had them paired but only one would work at a time. They are connected to echo dot. I think I need to start all over but I can’t figure our the sequence I should do. Can you walk us thru the process and sequence?
I think you’re going to have trouble using two with an echo dot, they’re really designed to be used with phones. This won’t work if you’re using an aux cable, for example. Were you still not getting audio from both speakers paired together and connected to a phone? Or have you not tried this yet? My advice is to start the pairing process again to a phone, not the echo dot. If this works, and the true wireless stereo feature works, then you know the issue is with the echo dot and not the speakers. 1. Remove any pairings from your devices so you can start fresh. Make sure to “forget” the speakers and not just disconnect. 2. Turn on both speakers and make sure they aren’t connected to any devices 3. Double tap the power button on both speakers and they will enter true wireless pairing mode. A tone will sound and the TWS indicator will turn yellow when they are successfully paired together. 4. Pair the speaker to your device by locating the speaker on your phone’s Bluetooth menu. Try these steps. Try playing some music from your phone to check if it’s working and then you’ll know if there is an issue or not. Let me know how this goes!
If Alexa control is important for you then you’re much better off buying an Alexa speaker. I.e. an echo, a Sonos One or other compatible Alexa speakers. I’d recommend picking up something from the echo family
In terms of value for money, yes. But they're really in different speaker categories. The JBL speakers have better audio quality, but it comes at much higher cost
The JBL Go 2 is much cheaper and has poorer sound than the Flip 5 - so it doesn't have the benefits I described above ^. It also has older tech like micro USB charging, and relatively poor battery life too. So i'd actually say the Tronsmart speakers offer better value
I'm not really sure what else I can add to this. There is a constant static or hissing noise with both of these speakers - so when you're listening at lower volumes you can really hear and notice this noise. But when you listen at louder volumes, your music is usually loud enough that it drowns out the hissing noise (so you can't hear it). The static/hissing noise is also more noticeable on the T6 Plus than the T6 Mini
Thanks for the reveiw. It helped me decide for the mini. Most suitable for me. On the issue of annoying beep it is because to improve the life of the batteries you should not discharge them completely. Boring but necessary noise.
Thank you. I understand your point, but I disagree that it's necessary. There are plenty of other (better) ways to do this that mean the consumer doesn't suffer
Nice videos! I am upcoming in product reviewing and just wanted to ask the cameras that you use, the different equipment and overall setup. It would be nice to know. Thanks
@@maffanb Actually no, for the video parts I pretty much set everything in the camera. Very little goes into the colour grading, if any - at most i'll make minor changes to the colour board in final cut pro!
Great work(video). What do you recommend : 1 t6 plus or 2 t6 mini?.. It is for use inside house, Portability does't matter. I cant buy 2 t6 plus. Thank you
It really depends on if you want true stereo separation (with 2 T6 minis). If not, it's more convenient to have a single device with better audio quality (T6 Plus). But you should look at the factors you prioritise first - do you care most about audio quality? Battery life? Equaliser modes? Design? Once you decide which aspect is your main priority, it will be easier to pick between the speakers.
I have a tronsmart element force + that's awesome.. And i have a tronsmart t6 mini, small but sounds great for its size, i try drained the battery but i has a long battery life.. Which that's plus factor for any Bluetooth speakers
The battery rating of the T6 Plus is misleading because the two 3300 mAh batteries are wired in parallel to cope with the 40 watt output so in reality the said speaker doesn't have a true 6600 mAh capacity. 🤔
You're right, the battery is made up of two 3300 mAh batteries - the main point I wanted to make though was the lack of correlation between this battery size and the playback time - pretty poor!
Go for one T6 Plus - the connection between two speakers can sometimes drop out, so 1 T6 Plus would be more reliable. It really depends on how you want to set these up though!

I wish you could compare the T6 mini with Creative Muvo Play. They seem similar in both specs and price.
That was a very smart review! Thank you. i decided to buy the t6 mini.
Thank you, I hope you enjoy it!
thanks for explaining the 3d ... just interested me to know if it is the same effect as the Force, with improvement separation/soundstage ...
No problem!
How is the t6 mini compared to sony srs xb12?
OK! Thanks! But, one T6 Plus can pair in stereo with the T6 mini?
No, you can only pair two of the same speaker together
i can pair my t6 mini with my Element Mega 😌👌
coul d you recommend a ~20-30€ speaker which offer a clear sound, no hissing and a fuller bass that what's usually offered?

Thank you. From my testing, no. The USB-C to C charging doesn't work. It needs to be USB-A to C
Yes why don't speakers just put clock downtimer to show running out of juice. 🕒 my powerbank does. 👍 great review.
I can't imagine it's that expensive to implement some basic features like this, but apparently so!

any latency for video by bluetooth ?
Yes there is a small but noticeable delay with videos

Thank you! No you can’t, you can only pair two of the same T6 plus speakers together
Bro, Does Tronsmart t6 mini Has good bass for small room?
Not bad for a small room, but it pales compared to something like the UE wonderboom
Do either of this support multi Device connectivity .?
No, none of them does
