Yes. Basically like Africa. They have AFCON, the normal cup competition like Euro or Copa America. And African Nations Championship, which basically the same like all of them, but the participants only able to use domestic players that play in their own country league.
This would be interesting if you did tournament eligibility from domestic leagues only. Kane is not available for England, for example. It might level out those bigger leagues
serie a problems is that their top teams arent as good as la liga or prem. They probably have the best 5th to 10th sides but their top 4 is dire, only inter is up to the top 10 team standard and milan can do it in a good day.
What did you do with the managers? I imagine Pep and Don Carlo would have been BIG upgrades for England and Spain. Alonso, Inzaghi, Slot, and Rogers would interesting swaps too. And any manager in Portugal would be a massive improvement, but Amorim especially!
I feel like we're not talking enough about how a 5-4 Euro Quarterfinal would probably be the most entertaining game of the decade, if not the century. If we get 25 goals in the QFs in real life, it will be the greatest tournament of all time, without question. 🤣
Come on, he said it after the Albania - Italy match, where Italy wasn't that bad. Of course you're smart to leave a comment when the tournament had almost ended
I have to admit, this is literally the *first* time I ever saw a video on "who would win if we had the best players from each league as teams?" where the winner _isn''t_ England
Taking this one level further and only using domestic players playing in the domestic league (full CHAN rules) would be interesting. Especially with the qualifying tournament included, to see who actually makes it.
I know it's impractical and it would only add to fixture congestion, but I really like the idea of an international tournament where the countries are represented by their league's TOTS.
Tom I have an idea for you: We always debate about the best league. You can take the first 16 teams frome the big 4 leagues (PL, LA LIGA, SERIA A, BUNDESLIGA), and create 16 groups, 4 teams per groups to play the traditional champions league group stage. The first two of each group will go to the knockout round and on and on until the final. Please do it, thanks
Ligue 1 might not be that good, but PSG has a lot of star players. The frensh team pretty much was the PSG roster and that was the case for several countries. Maybe it could be interesting to repeat this, but also limit the amount of players from the same team to 5 or something like that.
We could have Ronaldo and Messi in their prime playing for Scotland and we would still go out without with a win because of Steve Clarke's clownish tactics!
You should do a video where only players which play in their domestic leagues can play for the National team, just like Africa's CHAN. For example, if you wanted to represent Spain, you would need to be Spanish and play in a La Liga club.
Hi Tom! I just started playing Football Manager 2023 and I was wondering how did you customize your menu to see your searched players (added players) attributes without using the in game editor to check along with using scouts. Also the same with checking Current Ability and Potentials when you have them on your shortlist. Thank you!
@TomFM What if Catalunya played at Euro 2024? They already have its own national team, but it's not recognized by UEFA and FIFA. Imo it will be good sub for Israel
Can you win the premier league with a team but you can't have 2 or more player from the same nation? Obviously have to bypass the English player rule but starting 11 and all bench from a different country
The biggest shock for me is that FM thinks the 3 best goalkeepers in the Eredivisie are Bijlow, Ryan and Rulli. It should be Unnerstall, Olij and Benitez. After last season I'd even put Wellenreuther, Backhaus, Barkas, Vaessen, de Lange, Cillessen, Ramaj and Bakker ahead of Bijlow, he was that underwhelming/disappointing this season
Rüdiger seems to like to score own goals in European Cups.
Maybe do a "they can only use players who play in their domestic leagues", but don't change the nationalities
Was thinking the same!
So a European version of the African Nations Championship?
That's what I thought the video was going to be
Yes. Basically like Africa. They have AFCON, the normal cup competition like Euro or Copa America. And African Nations Championship, which basically the same like all of them, but the participants only able to use domestic players that play in their own country league.
Love this idea.
OMG at 9:54 the guy does a perfect RABONA cross into the box.
And it’s his FIRST touch too😭
Change the title to “deciding the Best league in the Europe “😂😂
Well no, that would require a full season and league format.
His title is literally as accurate as it could be
@@dannyfoster6848 says the premier league fan boy that denies what is in front of his eyes
@bandini0101 are you restarted?
@@dannyfoster6848 not the best maybe, but u can say the "strongest league"
Nah, Euro 2024 is a trending keyword so this title will get him more views
Doing this worldwide would be cool
But with qualifications ofcourse
wait till 2026
This would be interesting if you did tournament eligibility from domestic leagues only. Kane is not available for England, for example. It might level out those bigger leagues
Serie A is so stacked man, from managers to players it's easily just as good as the Premier League
😂
man you cant accept the fact that the laliga and premier league players are overpriced and overrated@@simex-hm4rr
serie a problems is that their top teams arent as good as la liga or prem. They probably have the best 5th to 10th sides but their top 4 is dire, only inter is up to the top 10 team standard and milan can do it in a good day.
Suggestion: “Euros 2024 but only unpicked players”
9:55 did that guy just straight up first-touch flick crossed the ball
A beautiful Rabona assist

"I also think Italy are going to well this summer in real life".
Nice one, Tom.
Yeah lol
Come on, he said it after the Albania - Italy match, where Italy wasn't that bad. Of course you're smart to leave a comment when the tournament had almost ended
3:52 WHERE IS ILICIC
13:06 YOU MEAN THE LEBRON JAMES OF SOCCER????
"Erling Haaland is now English"
Aye: lads a Yorkshireman
England try not to bottle it: IMPOSSIBLE
Why was lukaky in the england lineup when showing their team?
15:48 Very impressive to manage two awful predictions in one fifteen minute video! 😂
There's a RUclipsr called The Irish Guy who could somehow manage 5-6 in 10 minutes, chec him out
Tom always comes out with amazing videos every upload
Interesting that Poland on 4th place had better goal difference than last qualified 3rd place
Its a painful group of death that stings in each vid
It would be a great idea to make the Euro Cup into a league format.
New to fm, how do you get to view a list of players with their current ability as mine only has stars (I have the editor aswell as the game)
sort them by hidden attributes and keep the editor on
@@TheTechnicalArea19 Appreciate it mate

Tom the Euros content has been awesome, keep it up! :)
Another thumbnail where Tom is dressed like a kid going to his mum and stepdads wedding. Its gonna be a banger.
ryan, obispo and berghuis playing for the eredivise is crazy.. hope the current abilities for the eredivisie massively change next season
Do this again Tom, but with Every Country is not ITS League (so for example, England would be in trouble, as majority of their squad plays in England)
I like this idea, players who play outside domestic leagues, may have potential for a few shocks
Unlike Rudiger to score an own goal at the Euros.
I actually think that would be a good idea for a tournament...
A 24 Team Tournament made up of Teams of Leagues All-Stars
Ligue 1 might not be that good, but PSG has a lot of star players. The frensh team pretty much was the PSG roster and that was the case for several countries. Maybe it could be interesting to repeat this, but also limit the amount of players from the same team to 5 or something like that.

This is basically MLS All Stars vs Mexico All Stars but as a tournament and it is pretty cool.
Tom set it up so England had a chance of actually winning.......and they still lost. Glorious!
in the first minute there was already a mistake, hungary had a player from vissel kobe, and tahts japan
Great video idea Tom :)

You should do a yeovil save. U did one with scunthorpe but yeovil went down quicker. The objective should be to get a top 5 finish in the prem. 👍
Original content of the year award goes to TomFM.
you should do the copa america like this
Will there be any copa america videos?
so Rüdiger scoring spectacular own-goals is apparently a thing now. In reality just as in FM...
Hi Tom! You can add new columns in the table by right clicking the header. However you can only add CA an PA if you have the in-game editor.
Please do this kind of video with the copa america
doing a world cup in this format and including qualifiers would be amazing. wonder how well the saudis would do
That pronunciation of Ferencváros, oh my 😂 🙊
Is this database available anywhere, would be brilliant to have a go at it
What are your camera and match speed settings? Looks amazing
I've always wanted to do a World Cup where every country's player is from the domestic league only
How can you look CA and PA player at search column? I have FMRTE too actually
How do you do this
Can you edit a player's nationality?
@TomFM What if Catalunya played at Euro 2024? They already have its own national team, but it's not recognized by UEFA and FIFA. Imo it will be good sub for Israel
Crazy simulation
Very good video 👍
Now do it with domestic players from their own league, like that tournament in Africa.
Was it my idea Tom? Us Lincoln fans have to stick together UTI
You could try a similar one in a league system, like the new CL system.
Holy, kane for germany with Wirtz and Musiala behind
The Croatia rabona pass against Portugal was :O
OOOOH NOOOO that NL vs IT game giving me, a Dutchman, flashbacks :(
would love to see a world cup out of this with WC qualifying
Kane is stupidly OP in FM, unlike real life.
This is the All Star League Cup we need!
Suggestion
Euro 2024 but the Teams that competed at Eurovision this year Qualify
Serie A's the best league in Europe, no surprises here
no its not lol
Can you do one, where for example Germany can only use german players from the Bundesliga, England english prem players,…
erling haaland in a parallel universe where he declared for his birth nation (yorkshire)
Hilarious when the English wish fulfillment exercise still won’t let you win 😂
Euros if it was a league would be good to do
You should do the opposite: FM, but you can only play in the league of you’re home nation
7:01 Song name?
Can you win the premier league with a team but you can't have 2 or more player from the same nation? Obviously have to bypass the English player rule but starting 11 and all bench from a different country
Very proud of the Eredivisie 🇳🇱 we have incredible talent
this should be a tournament irl
Do this but where you only choose English players playing in England and so on
Rebuild FC Nantes Please. They went from UCL Semi-Finals to Relegation Battle
did osimhen not play? He got 80 goals for me in one seasons in fm 23
Italy did not do well in Euro 2024
Flashback:Switzerland 2-0 Italy in the round of 16

The only way to get Haaland play for the country of his birth
Would love to see this in real life. European league all stars.
Euros but they can any call up players from their 2nd division.
Tom please do a challenge with Olympiacos from Greece!
Only players playing outside their domestic leagues
England just desserts for overlooking Alisson imo
You gotta do a Copa edition bro
Ferencvaros is pronounced Fair-ens varr-osh Tom!
Tom, you should do some Copa America Videos
Meanwhile irl:
Italy get knocked out in the ro16
Can anybody with football manager do theses tournament edits or do you need to know a thing or two?
You should do this with the world cup
Is football manager on console any good?
and Harry Kane did it again...
Do domestic players from only domestic leagues
At least Kane could win like this.
Did we miss Wirtz and Musiala?
Why Wirtz isn't on the Germany team??
