The Welsh teams probably have some unique code to generate Welsh players since they're in the English league system
Its the fact they are based in Wales. If you set their base nation in the pre game editor to say i dunno, the Solomon Islands, they would only generate players from there and the league that they are playing in's country
This could have been funnier if the transfer embargo allowed teams to sign players of their nationality (like Athletic Bilbao with Basque players). While allowing just 23-26 players for inscription

With stopping players from leaving what you can do is set up a future transfer for a certain date 20 or so years in advance. Clayts is a creator who does that, and it works well. Always sends them off to Saudi Arabia

You should have set the team's bases to their nation. That would make them produce youngers of their nation in expense of 'only' having a huge budget for travelling... .

I know it would be a big task but could you have added a bilbao-esque can only sign/field x nationality players and that might force the academy to produce kids that are the right nationality, I don’t remember Bilbao producing players they can’t play in fm so maybe worth a look

You can force a player to stay at the club farily easily. Either by contract locking them with "Will leave at the end of the contract" Then give them a contract for the length of the experiment. You could also do it by giving them a future transfer, 15 years into the future, then obviously a contract for that length too.

I'm from Vietnam too and I support my local club Da Nang, who will have a chance to get promoted back to the top after 1 season in the second division.
My club faced Ha Noi FC in the National Cup Quarter-final, when on lost 2-1 but it's okay. Love to see Vietnam in this video. I don't know how they will perform in the video (Because I'm commented this before watching the simulation)

Just spotted that. Error on my part having looked through the files. To change to club names I was creating a bunch of LNC files which uses the clubs ID number to change the teams name. So the file would read:
"CLUB_NAME_CHANGE" 643 "New Zealand" ""
"CLUB_SHORT_NAME_CHANGE" 643 "New Zealand" ""
Then I'd copy and paste for the next club, change the ID number and name. But obviously it looks like in trying to change 116 team names I didn't change the club short name from New Zealand to Kazakhstan (Peterborough should also be Burkina Faso but were called Azerbaijan in the video).

to solve the problem of other teams from outside England purchasing national team players, just put every current players on a future transfer like 20 years into the future, and setting that as the end of your experiment. Dunno how that would work for newgens tho
Vietnam mentioned I'm screaming in Vietnamese (Also Vietnam dropped so low on the fifa ranking and the player's ratings after 3 losses in a row to Indonesia that they went from been maybe a top side playing for promotion in this league phase of the 5th division to being the worst team in the experiment)

For future videos, you can simply put a transfer embargo on the top 5,000 teams and you should be fine. It would take around half an hour at the most to do this

god I love how Man City / Morocco are able to circumvent the embargo here xD. Though maybe the real reason is our insane academy but then why do no other academies absolutely dominate the national teams...

5:40 the way you fix this is to make all players move to a club, but in 30 years time, so they have a transfer arranaged green square by their name. its tough to do this for all players but i bet you could make a script to do it
Did you even out the training facilities at all the clubs? It would be a little unfair for smaller countries teams to develop their players compared to the prem teams

The reason why Man Utd are in game is because the patch has been applied by yourself. If you reverted FM to its default software program from install, it would change.

Couldn't you just set every club with a certain reputation outside of England to be extinct to stop players leaving? Also you could change the based nation to fix the regen problem.
