T-fal are one of the best brands for pots and pans. My grandparents had a dark green set of them for literally 30 years until they recently replaced them a couple years ago. If you take care of them, the nonstick will last for a LONG time.
😂😂😂 honestly tho that was me when I was younger! It gives you ideas for the future! Nothing wrong with that! PS. Start saving early- you’ll have a nice amount built up so you can get everything you need + the cute stuff 💕💕 best advice I heard!
yup me too.. i liked the metal ones with the fake diamond on it because they were pretty but i just bought them over the summer and they are already rusted and screech so much :/ definitely getting plastic when i move
omg I loved this video! I also loved how you got a lot of stuff that reminded you of your old home!! after shopping for my first apartment, I realized that a majority of my kitchen items I got were the same items my parents had at home and it reminded me of my parent's house too!
So I have the measuring cups from Walmart, we’ve had them for like a year. Now saying that putting them in the dishwasher over and over has made the paint or whatever rub off. We have to guess what size it is, I love baking and it sucks. The metal are engraved so they don’t rub off so I recommend that
I’m move into my own condo at 20 on the first of next month! I’m so excited, my house is filled with stuff for my apartment. I’m so proud of myself for taking the next step in my life. You have great advice about saving money! What I’ve been doing is creating wish lists on Amazon divided out in purchases. Love your vid!
Omg I’m so impressed that you literally linked everything and you edited cute! If there’s one thing I would recommend it’s a little plate thing to put your ladles/ spatula when you cook :)
Awesome video girl! Thank you for this, I used it while making my checklist for things to buy. I wrote down alot of stuff that I did not think of but that I know ill need. THANKS GIRL
If the dollar tree existed when I moved into my first apartment, that’s where I would be buying most of my essentials LOL😁 I’m 46! Most of the stuff I’ve already seen on this video is not essential. How about toilet paper? Bath towels. Dish soap.
im just now seeimg this video but it’s honestly the best time. my bf and i are planning to move out sometime next year after saving a bunch of money and building our credit so this was sooo helpful
I’m so excited to get my own place eventually too! I’m 17 at the moment so it’ll be a few years most likely but I’ve been buying things for my room and such that I can take with me when the time comes; I also think that’s a good idea too if you’re planning on getting your own place within the next few years to get things for your room and such that you can bring because it will help :)
I love your vlogs so much, the moving & apartment content lately has been great! FYI, if you're looking for the muffin liners, there's reusable ones at IKEA! :)
Awe yayyyy! Love to hear that!!! That’s so exciting! Good luck with your move !! 🙌🏼💕 PS. Order your couch early if you need one (they’re taking 4-5 months for delivery 😅)
I bought a lot of my stuff on Facebook marketplace one thing I had to get was a small tool kit also because if you build your own furniture it helps so much
OMG, Huge haul! My daughter is moving off compus in to her first apartment. I’m helping her buy her kitchen essentials …she is a minimalist so its easy. I found the large items at costco and the small things at TJ Max. We still need all the cleaning product. Love your video, so helpful!!!!
Omg, you got such good stuff!! I’m not sure if you ladies know, but Tj Maxx has name brand kitchen organization and utensils!! They have such cute stuff for cheap!❤️
Omg 😳 i can not wait to this day again ,! Not gone say the reason why I didn’t get my first place but i will say it stressful trying to see what you want for each room
I Cannot wait until I move out in 2 years! (Im starting to save now, though I should have started earlier) I have a list of essentials and a whole google docs with 13 pages :)
The metal ones are gonna be better because I have plastic ones from walmart too and the labels wear out over time and I have to guess what size they are
All of yall r lucky 😂because here where I live we have no Ikea, target, hobby lobby and amazing stores like that 😂buttttt one day... One day I'll be moving to America!!!
What camera do you use? I wanna start a channel and I don't want a SUPER expensive camera and I don't want one thats super complex either. Just one with a good lense and gets the job done.
I would keep all the bowls. You will use them, esp the glass one if you need to do something in the microwave, and the large one for popcorn or making Chex mix
Omg found you from this video on my homepage! I just moved into my first apartment on Saturday so I'm living with like no furniture right now either lol. Love your energy & can't help but feel like we would be friends haha!
Aweee omg thank you 💕 yes the struggle is real with furniture (my couch isn’t coming til April 😬) but Ahh that’s so exciting that you just moved in to your first apartment 🙌🏼🎉 congrats!!!
Surge protectors help protect your electronics from blowing out if there’s a surge or electricity after a power outage it can rush through outlets and it’s like the explosion on monster inc essentially but in your electronics and they’ll break and never work again it can happen to TVs game consoles phones lights and computers that’s why some plugins have the boxes on them they’re surge protects 👌🏻look at your apple charging cord for your laptop that’s what the big bulky square is for 💖
Use the metal measuring cups bc most of ur appliances are black n silver keep the white ones in the pantry with ur baking goods then again everything kinda has color in it lol
a good tip for yall who are wanting to move out: buy used furniture from fb market place!!!! people will be selling their really nice used couches for $200 or less sometimes! they also sell rugs, dining sets, decor, etc and it's really cheap and really nice stuff. In my area theres a biiiig sectional that would usually cost $2000 being sold for $300 and a pullout couch selling for $175. Most of these people just want to get rid of their things its super affordable.
i live with roommates rn but me and my bf are planning to move out on our own so im buying a ton of stuff and keeping it at my moms until i need it lol
yes! i love doing this plus you can often customize things to however you want it when you’re buying it off of someone instead of brand new from the store :) also walmart is having a big sale so i always look after the new year because you can find things cheap :)
target i love target i go atleast evry two weeks and i live very far away from one so haha but if i lived closer and had my own car ide be broke ahahaha
hello ✨ hope you all LOVE this huge apartment haul! comment below your fav places to shop for home essentials ! PS. everything is linked!
Ross, Marshall’s, tj maxx/ home goods, ikea, and dollar store. All affordable slept on stores.
FACTS! When I tell you dollar general is the affordable goat when it comes to house hold things ! their dinnerware is sooo cute !
Okay but she really WENT OFF with those links in the description!!!!!😧🤩
i'm moving in 2 weeks (if everything works out!) and this was SO HELPFUL! i completely forgot that oven mitts are essential LOL
Yayyy! That’s so exciting! Good luck! 🙌🏼💕 & Aweee I love to hear that! Yess so many random things 🤷🏼♀️
Anddddd did everything work out??? SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!

not me watching this even though i am literally in middle school and will not be buying an apartment anytime in the near future ....
😂😂😂 honestly tho that was me when I was younger! It gives you ideas for the future! Nothing wrong with that! PS. Start saving early- you’ll have a nice amount built up so you can get everything you need + the cute stuff 💕💕 best advice I heard!
Same tho
same 😭😭
Samee
same but ill be able to get one in 4 yrs so i might as well learn what things u need and like application process so its easier for me then
For the shower curtain i prefer the plastic hooks because the metal ones can rust and they scrape against the bar which makes a really screechy noise
Ooooh that’s a good point! I went with the plastic ones! ☺️ thank you!
yup me too.. i liked the metal ones with the fake diamond on it because they were pretty but i just bought them over the summer and they are already rusted and screech so much :/ definitely getting plastic when i move
IM SO PROUD OF U EMIlLY! THIS APARTMENT IS GONNA BE GREAT I JUST KNOW IT 💘

Ooooh that’s so smart!!! Taking advantage of the Black Friday deals 🙌🏼💸 love that! Good luck on your move girl!
