@@iantait1007 Some of them can be at least a few hundred dollars, depending on if you also want to get accessories for it or not. The cheap ones are probably around $200 or less. The more expensive ones are maybe $300 to $500. Though, I have to say, most of the website is literally out of stock until further notice in late March to early April.

Not true, they legit make excellent flashlights! Really expensive, but so totally worth it flashlights! Also with the heavygrade blades, you honestly do have a very solid defensive weapon if, God forbid, someone tries to break into your home, bonus if they panic and think 'Oh crap! He's got a real lightsaber!' 'cause honestly the average person has no clue that there are such real looking sabers now.
@@AltezOtto Midgrade? Yes, but don't get carried away. Heavygrade? You'd have to go out of your way to try and break them, and even then it'd take a LOT of effort. Definitely duel worthy.

Okay so I'm a little new to the whole saber thing, as I recently ordered my first saber 10 days ago, an Ultrasabers Prophecy v3 with Diamond Soundboard. I researched sabers probably over a year or two ago and Ultrasabers was the one that stuck out in terms of quality and customer satisfaction/reviews/ratings. I also really wanted a saber that was reminiscent of Anakin's saber in Episode 2, for nostalgia. My saber won't arrive for probably a few more weeks because of the Christmas/new movie rush, but now that I am seeing your video on Sabertrio, as well as videos from "Darth Koopa", it really has me thinking about getting a saber with a Neo Blade as well. One of my concerns about Ultrasabers was the blade quality in terms of color and brightness, and although most videos say they are quite good, I can tell that Sabertrio blades are magnificent due to individual LEDs inside the blade, instead of a light inside the hilt. So I guess my questions are: which hilt and WHY?, which blade type (heavy/midgrade) and WHY?, and which blade length (32"/36.7") and WHY?
You can get in hilt or Neo from Sabertrio as well. But yeah, a Neo is far brighter and does things the others can't do. However, there's far more reasons to go with Sabertrio. And, just because someone gets an Ultrasaber and says it's "Awesome" in a video, does not necessarily mean anything. If all they have ever had is a toy or a Master Replica, they would think so. But, from someone that has both, a Sabertrio is far superior. Hilt choice is going to just be what you think looks best without knowing if you are getting it for dueling or twirling or just for show. Blade length is going to depend on you, too. I think they look good and twirl well with the 32, but the Vahlken for sure looks better with the longer since it is such a deep hilt
And, the type will also depend on your use. The heavy for sure if you're dueling. Honestly, other than the extra weight, I don't see a down side to heavy blades

For the Reaver, what length blade is that? How is the balance for spinning at the "choke" nearest to the emitter? Do any of the grooves/edges chew up your hand after a while from spinning? Thanks

I know this comment is pretty late, but I do have a couple of questions: Can the neopixel blades be used for light dueling? And is smoothswing available with the standard FX sound saber, or do is it only with the neopixel?
They actually have heavy grade Neopixel blades now! So, medium to heavy dueling is ok with those. And, no. Only with the Neo sabers, smooth swing you will have.
Happy New Year Daniel! I just came across your video. What is your opinion of the Sabertrio sound loudness and sound reactivitity (Delay) versus the Force FX sabers by Hasbro? I have Vader / Darth Maul sabers from Force FX Hasbro, but I always feel that they are lagging when I swing the saber. I'm new to Sabertrio, so curious for your opinion! Thanks man
Oh, you're comparing apples and oranges, lol Not even close in any way. Just the FX version from Sabertrio blows those out of the water for light and sounds. And the Neo/CFX blows their FX out of the water. They have smooth swing technology, so they even respond to the slightest movement. My first saber was a Force FX and I can't even play with it now because it's just so weak and crappy. And, I even had it converted to a brighter in hilt LED, which made it way brighter than it was. And it's still not even close.
I've seen these sabers but I dont know anything about the av button and sd card stuff? I just want 2 that are good for a nice duel. Recommend any mods I need to buy? Which saber and parts. I love the video
Thanks. Sounds like you would just want to go with one of the FX version. They have one set of sounds and 15 colors you can cycle through. However, they are an in hilt LED setup, so, not as bright and does not have the advanced effects.

I'm having a hard time choosing between the reaver, aeryn, and vahlken. I only have the budget for one when they reopen in April. I'm around 5'7, is the 32 inch blade the best option or should I go for the 36.

I seen a video where someone had CFX an the crystal focus sondfont but there ignition had a flash of arctic blue or Cyan same with the blade retraction is this effect something that is the same of all the fonts or is that something you can add yourself sorry if this seems like a dumb question
You can for sure customize the speed of retraction, but after that, I'm not sure. There are a lot of values you can play with, but I mostly just mess with color values and simple stuff

Insanely brighter than a Force FX. Heck, the FX version they sell is way brighter than a Force FX, the neo will literally hurt your eyes at times. I wouldn't imagine the neo is brighter than another company's neo since they all use the same technology for the most part, but the build quality is far superior.
Also I often spin lightsabers, comparable to the speed of the prequel movies! Do these sabers have nice choke points and are they good to swing at speed?
@@MH-hn5cx Yes, the Reaver is awesome to spin. It has 2 good choke points and they are smooth. The Aeryn has a good one due to the thin neck design. I don't really like spinning the Vahlken as much because it's got so many edges. But, they aren't sharp like an US, but still, since I have other choices I spin it least.
Hey when you say that the Reaver has 15 banks vs the Aeryn that has 3 banks, are you referring to the sound fonts? Does that refer to the Aeryn they currently have on their website?
You said it made all the other saber look like a toy, I picked a in-hilt led saber which is really not that bright, with a touch switch, and it seems like a toy, like you said. Now from what you show in both videos that looks awesome like what I should have bought in the first place. Would you still stand by "makes others look like toys" in my case only.
Those are toys, lol. This one is loud. My wife says they are too loud. The acoustics differ from hilt to hilt. I've never heard that specific saber, but I'm sure you will be very happy!
I just bought the Senza during the most speedy purchase of my life and I just wanted to know if the brightness difference between the mid grade and heavy grade neo blade is really noticeable? Or is it basically the same?

Hey I was hoping you could help me, I was never a fan of star wars(not like other people I know) but I always loved the look of a black handle and purple light. Can you tell me exactly which one I should get? How much should it cost and everything. I want it for mostly fun reasons(twirling and doing tricks). I want the sound engine of the sabers and everything too.
So, I'll not go into price since you can just look on the Sabertrio.com website and see. I would not recommend any other company. Yes, there's a wait, but well worth it. I know you don't need the best for what you want, but you don't want junk, either. Luckily, you can get the best for as good a deal as the junk, you just have to wait longer to get it. But, the difference is literally mind-blowing. I have stuff from the big saber companies that I can't even twirl because it cuts my hands, lol. Not to mention they're dinky. Sabertrio offers every model in Black, so just find what you like and get a dark editions in it and you're set. If you want sound, you will need an FX or Neo. Both of which change colors, so you will have purple and 14 other colors to play with. Sounds like you would probably be happy with an FX

No, the Stunt sabers have no effects and one color. The FX sabers have one set of sounds and minimal effects but 15 colors, and the Neo sabers have what I'm showing plus the ability to add unlimited additional stuff

@@YayaTheRunner I know this is months later, but when you pick a saber it takes you to the configurator, which currently offers four types of sabers including the neopixel. As of right now the store is closed to saber purchases and is scheduled to open end of March 2021.

Not sure if you’ve tried recently but go on their site and build a Neopixel saber that you like and go through all of the saber configuration selections, it should show the price for everything selected! Not sure where you live but as a estimate, my shipping was $45usd to U.S., Florida if that helps
Btw I had a few extra options and mine was $585usd shipped! I did however get a blade plug($28) illuminated switch($2usd) and shrouds($25) as I got the new Senza. The option I opted not to get was the OLED control display box($50usd) this time, I’m planning on another one with it to make a saber staff in the future!
If you're asking about the blades, they are all offered with the neo blades and the Crystal focus board, the In hilt RGB FX models which also can change colors and have sound, or the single color no sound stunt versions.
What happens when you change the color with spectrum, then turn it off an on again? Does it stay that color? Otherwise it would suck I don’t wanna leave it on the whole time since battery life doesn’t seem to be so great and I don’t wanna „select my color“ after turning it on first 🧐
The color stays changed until it actually goes to sleep mode so you can cut it on and off as long as you don't leave it off long enough for sleep mode to kick in.

can you change the audio on these sabertrios? I mean if I wanted to add luke skywalker audio clip from rotj before I ignite the green font or add darth vader line about power of the dark side before the red font. is this possible? no one has done a video tutorial how to make changes on the sound card
Yeah, all that is possible. I'm going to do one on color values and changing default colors soon. But I've not personally done the sound changes. But, I'm 100 percent sure you can do that
@@DK-Spencer I asked them on facebook and they replied: "For that feature, what you would need to do is to add in a .wav file of the quote and rename it as "boot. and replace the previous boot.wav file. that way, when you select the soundfont, it will play the soundclip you wanted after activating the soundfont"

You'd have to gut the US hilt and install the necessary switch, auxiliary switch, CFX board, neopixel LED set up. To get more sound fonts, go to saberfont.com

That's a 32. Very good choke points. Very smooth finish. It does not have any edges that aren't very smooth. It's 10x better than a US

I have Vader / Darth Maul sabers from Force FX Hasbro, but I always feel that they are lagging when I swing the saber. I'm new to Sabertrio, so curious for your opinion! Thanks man
Oh, you're comparing apples and oranges, lol Not even close in any way. Just the FX version from Sabertrio blows those out of the water for light and sounds. And the Neo/CFX blows their FX out of the water. They have smooth swing technology, so they even respond to the slightest movement. My first saber was a Force FX and I can't even play with it now because it's just so weak and crappy. And, I even had it converted to a brighter in hilt LED, which made it way brighter than it was. And it's still not even close.
I've seen these sabers but I dont know anything about the av button and sd card stuff? I just want 2 that are good for a nice duel. Recommend any mods I need to buy? Which saber and parts. I love the video
Thanks. Sounds like you would just want to go with one of the FX version. They have one set of sounds and 15 colors you can cycle through. However, they are an in hilt LED setup, so, not as bright and does not have the advanced effects.
can these be used for choreographed dueling? also, does the heavy grade neo blade have any advantages over the mid grade? they look so cool and im definitely getting one when theyre back up!

Hey does the 2020 Aeryn not have as many banks as the reaver (3 vs 15 banks)? Are you referring to the Sound Font when you say that?
I like how the Aeryn looks but want to be sure the capabilities are the same.
They all are available with this setup. All the Neo sabers have this. Yeah, it comes with 15, but you can add as many as you want after you get it.
Mine is older, it only has 3 Banks

White. I always get the white buttons cuz honestly some of the colored ones look funny with some blade colors. White looks good with everything

I'm having a hard time choosing between the reaver, aeryn, and vahlken. I only have the budget for one when they reopen in April. I'm around 5'7, is the 32 inch blade the best option or should I go for the 36.
I'm taller than you and I love the 32" blades. The Vahlken does look a little shorter than the others with one though because the socket is so deep.

I seen a video where someone had CFX an the crystal focus sondfont but there ignition had a flash of arctic blue or Cyan same with the blade retraction is this effect something that is the same of all the fonts or is that something you can add yourself sorry if this seems like a dumb question
You can for sure customize the speed of retraction, but after that, I'm not sure. There are a lot of values you can play with, but I mostly just mess with color values and simple stuff

Hey man just wanted to ask is the brightness of the blade really bright in person because obviously in videos they look much brighter? And would you say they are brighter than other companies sabers? Just wanted to ask because I have the normal force fx sabers and want to upgrade:)
Insanely brighter than a Force FX. Heck, the FX version they sell is way brighter than a Force FX, the neo will literally hurt your eyes at times. I wouldn't imagine the neo is brighter than another company's neo since they all use the same technology for the most part, but the build quality is far superior.

@@MH-hn5cx Yes, the Reaver is awesome to spin. It has 2 good choke points and they are smooth. The Aeryn has a good one due to the thin neck design. I don't really like spinning the Vahlken as much because it's got so many edges. But, they aren't sharp like an US, but still, since I have other choices I spin it least.

You said it made all the other saber look like a toy, I picked a in-hilt led saber which is really not that bright, with a touch switch, and it seems like a toy, like you said. Those are toys, lol. This one is loud. My wife says they are too loud. The acoustics differ from hilt to hilt. I've never heard that specific saber, but I'm sure you will be very happy!

Hey I was hoping you could help me, I was never a fan of star wars(not like other people I know) but I always loved the look of a black handle and purple light. Can you tell me exactly which one I should get? How much should it cost and everything. I want it for mostly fun reasons(twirling and doing tricks). I want the sound engine of the sabers and everything too.
So, I'll not go into price since you can just look on the Sabertrio.com website and see. I would not recommend any other company. Yes, there's a wait, but well worth it. I know you don't need the best for what you want, but you don't want junk, either. Luckily, you can get the best for as good a deal as the junk, you just have to wait longer to get it. But, the difference is literally mind-blowing. I have stuff from the big saber companies that I can't even twirl because it cuts my hands, lol. Not to mention they're dinky. Sabertrio offers every model in Black, so just find what you like and get a dark editions in it and you're set. If you want sound, you will need an FX or Neo. Both of which change colors, so you will have purple and 14 other colors to play with. Sounds like you would probably be happy with an FX

They now have heavy blades that are just as bright and are suitable for a duel. The original blades were ok for light dueling though.

No, the Stunt sabers have no effects and one color. The FX sabers have one set of sounds and minimal effects but 15 colors, and the Neo sabers have what I'm showing plus the ability to add unlimited additional stuff

@@YayaTheRunner I know this is months later, but when you pick a saber it takes you to the configurator, which currently offers four types of sabers including the neopixel. As of right now the store is closed to saber purchases and is scheduled to open end of March 2021.

Not sure if you’ve tried recently but go on their site and build a Neopixel saber that you like and go through all of the saber configuration selections, it should show the price for everything selected!
Not sure where you live but as a estimate, my shipping was $45usd to U.S., Florida if that helps
Btw I had a few extra options and mine was $585usd shipped! I did however get a blade plug($28) illuminated switch($2usd) and shrouds($25) as I got the new Senza. The option I opted not to get was the OLED control display box($50usd) this time, I’m planning on another one with it to make a saber staff in the future!

Hey Daniel is it an option to have the different colors for the other hilts?
They're all offered in silver/black and dark editions and you can get the silver brushed or mirror polished and any of them can be bought weathered.
If you're asking about the blades, they are all offered with the neo blades and the Crystal focus board, the In hilt RGB FX models which also can change colors and have sound, or the single color no sound stunt versions.

What happens when you change the color with spectrum, then turn it off an on again? Does it stay that color? Otherwise it would suck I don’t wanna leave it on the whole time since battery life doesn’t seem to be so great and I don’t wanna „select my color“ after turning it on first 🧐
The color stays changed until it actually goes to sleep mode so you can cut it on and off as long as you don't leave it off long enough for sleep mode to kick in.

Yeah, all that is possible. I'm going to do one on color values and changing default colors soon. But I've not personally done the sound changes. But, I'm 100 percent sure you can do that
@@DK-Spencer I asked them on facebook and they replied: "For that feature, what you would need to do is to add in a .wav file of the quote and rename it as "boot. and replace the previous boot.wav file. that way, when you select the soundfont, it will play the soundclip you wanted after activating the soundfont"

I can't comment on using another hilt. But with Sabertrio, the CFX or the FX had color change and flash on clash, but only the CFX has smooth swing
You'd have to gut the US hilt and install the necessary switch, auxiliary switch, CFX board, neopixel LED set up. To get more sound fonts, go to saberfont.com
