@@jackmandu Truth. But the Garand is about the ONLY rifle that uses a Clip that ejects itself. If you know of another let me know. Nothing about how loud the rifle is, either. In Real Life the sound of a centerfire rifle Starts around 140 Decibels. That's louder than the proverbial jackhammer.

Actually, the M1 uses clips to feed cartridges into the gun, not magazines. Once empty, the clip is automatically ejected.
