I made an explosion box for my husband about 12 years ago. I’ve never made another one because that one- done with a set of measurements- took 7+ hours. I’m looking forward to doing some again.
I think a video showing how you made the birthday box would be a great idea. I have made several of these boxes without the help of the board. This board would make it so much simpler than doing all of the measuring.

My preference is to put a lid on every size of box and that way each one explodes as you take off the lid. I think it’s much more fun for the recipient to open
