A bold and excellent choice to omit the drums. Flawless vocal stacking on the chorus, synths that could tuck into bed even the most restless of souls, and an amount of reverb that would entice Goldilocks to sit at the table and partake. Well done, sir.

To me, the major sounding component to this cover adds to the melancholy of the lyrics. The message of the lyrics got through to me way more in this cover than the original imo. I absolutely love it and have it on repeat 🙌
