Carpet Cleaning with a Portable - Instagram Story

There are cleaners out there who clean with portables exclusively and there was a time when I counted myself among their ranks. In fact, I regard the period of time when I drove a 1989 Ford Aerostar and cleaned with a floor machine and a portable as the most content of my cleaning career. The Aerostar was easy to load and unload and the portable allowed me to clean better and charge more than I could with a floor machine and a cotton bonnet - the standard in that company at that time.
But that period of time would be short-lived and I would soon be introduced to the first truck mount I would ever use and the portable extractor became a child's toy by comparison. Of course, after years of breakdowns, noise and fumes I would come to appreciate the simplicity of the portable extractor as well as its utility and ability to get to places a truck-mounted extractor never could. After all, sometimes you just can't use a truck mount but the customer needs their carpet cleaned and you need to make that money. And so the portable extractor became a valuable tool in my cleaning toolbox.

Man, buy 50ft and another 25ft solution hose, so, you don't have to suffer anymore. I had the same problem taking it to the second floor. 100ft hose and solution will help you a lot.

You can run 100ft hose. If you can add a 3 stage vac motor. You can make one and just add it on top of your recovery tank lid.

Invest in a high power portable, Just brought a new one that can run up to a 150 feet of 2nch hose, auto fill and dump, made work a lot easier
