During day 6 we travel by train from Tokyo to Hakone where we spend the night in the mountains. Then on to Kyoto and the Kiyomizu-dera temple!

Me and my wife had the dream trip of our lives to Japan in February and it's strange how certain things really set you back and stick in your mind. Your shot of the Kyoto streets at night in almost silence was a big one for us too, stood looking down a similar (possibly the same who knows) street for several minutes soaking it all in.
That person playing all the pans & buckets is amazing.
I love how creative your vlogs have gotten. There is so much detail in each one and it feels like a guide through Japan! Keep up the great work and I hope to see more!

I've never been to Japan, but you did a great job showing the experience. A good mix of locations filled with mood and little details about daily life there. The editing is amazing, the way you organically wove in the street performers' music into the street scenes before showing him perform was a great technique.
You two add a great, fun, and relaxed presence to the series; personal and entertaining. Your skills have leveled-up.
I can't wait for more!! I wish I could go to that temple, it's so beautiful.... I felt the call to be there, just watching this!

I loved McDonald's and Starbucks while I was stationed in Okinawa. XD Starbucks had a Japanese Cherry Blossom Frappucino and McDonald's had a tofu Big Mac, and I'm not even vegetarian. Amazing.. your vlogs make me want to go back. T_T

The moment I heard the music, I stopped the video to go on. Again, people carelessly using the other nation/culture's music. In this case Chinese music to Japanese scenery.. You European people would approve an Italian scenery with German or French music? Particularly, Japanese feel offended to hear this mistake. Carelessness, un-inteligent attitude......China and Japan have distinctly different culture, even in the traditional music.....melodies, musical instruments, and so on.
Hope this person made the video will study/learn to be more sensitive, correct information and know the proper way to select matching music to the video scene.
