  • Contaminated hydraulic oil flush, depending on how contaminated your oil is you will probably have to repeat this process more than a couple times, I personally flushed it 4 times with mew oil each time to get as much contaminated oil out,
Couldn’t find any other way to do it and I am not sure if this is the best way but it did help me and i hope it helps some of you,
Any questions or tips please leave a comment, also any other new Holland repairs you are looking for leave a comment and if I have done them before I will upload a video on it.
    Thanks

Thanks for the info, you're right, very LITTLE on the vids for these.
If it means anything, in the future you don't want to drain a contaminated filter into your clean oil; maybe in this case you should've run the machine for a day after the fluid change, then only change the hydraulic filter.
Filters ain't cheap, but far cheaper than that quantity of oil.
Did you ever locate source of water contamination? What was the fix?

Hello thanks for the feedback! Will keep in mind,
Water source was indeed that gasket on the the hydraulic oil cap,, you unscrew the screws on it and it should have 2 gaskets, both on our machine where totally deteriorated,

Thanks for the video. I have a LX 865 what did you use to hold that middle bottom plate up?

Hello thanks for watching! The middle plate itself wasn’t to heavy so I just unbolted it and was able to hold it myself, the back plate however was very heavy and needed 2 people to remove and put back. Hope that answers your question.

You're only going to get 5 gallons out at a time. That's what the reservoir holds. I'm going through the same thing. Also, use a bucket with a top on it, as it's easier to contain the hose. I'm trying to research a better way, because you're going to go through a lot of oil before it even starts to clean up.

I have a huge hyd oil leak on the reservoir or suction side of my hydraulic pump. Is there an easy way to access this? (LX465)

What about a hydraulic oil change on the ls170??

Hello, so one thing I do know on the ls170 you do not have that middle plate on the bottom that gives you access to the bottom of the reservoir, as of know only thing I’d recommend is probably draining some out with an attachment hose like I showed first in this video,
I had also heard about syphoning some out through the top of the reservoir, unfortunately it wouldn’t get all of the oil out so it would require way more repeating,
