@@wildcatwilly I got a 60" CID X-Treme with the mulching capability. It looks like a very solid brush cutter also for the money. It got good reviews as well. It has a 7" dia. Cutting capacity. But I doubt I will get into anything like that. I just ordered it yesterday. They said it would be here by mid October.
@@wildcatwilly we have a blue diamond mower for our excavator. We got it about 5 years ago. We have had some problems with it. We have had to put 2 new motors on it. Also bearing rings in the drive twice. It is very heavy duty. Almost to heavy. It is a 42" mower. This last motor has seemed to last though fingers crossed! They have since redesigned it. So they probably have the bugs worked out of it.
Ok, but now you have to put that male fitting on all of your attachments that need a case drain. Since the standard is a male fitting on the machine side, it would make more sense to swap that for a male, and leave your attachments untouched...
@@wildcatwilly Yes its very strange that New Holland used a female case drain. The other manufacturers all use a male fitting on the machine, even the mini skid steers. Its so common in fact, that attachments with a case drain hose all come with the female fitting on the attachment, anticipating the male as standard on the machine.
Dang dude that's rough... I tell you what I would do. If you're having that much trouble with it pull the plug drill it and then find the best welder you know and just weld on the case drain I bought and be done with it...
Thanks didn't know that was the case drain on my c227. Just ordered a brush cutter that required one. Now I know! Thanks again.
I really love getting the information out there for everyone. What machine did you get?

Very nice I run a blue diamond on my channel and absolutely love it 5-in material rating but I've pushed it past that more than once

That's what I'm hoping to get next is a nice excavator mulcher
Thank you!!
You're very welcome I know it was frustrating for me to track down.

@@HeyImAndrew... So far that's the only one that has needed a case drain... Wouldn't it be weird for the factory to set it up that way incorrectly?

@@HeyImAndrew... Hmmm weird... I still have it don't think I need anything else... But I do appreciate the insight.
My case drain has a cap nut on it for some reason…ASV RS-75
That sucks maybe you can find the right thread pitch from the nut?
@@wildcatwilly if only the ASV dealers were helpful…they were asking me for the part!

@@wildcatwilly I’m going to take that nut off tomorrow and just bring it to a hydraulic shop. Thanks for the tip!
