"It is I whose mother has named Haydara" is a chant that Ali is said to have used while fighting Marhab. Haydar is a synonym for lion. Ali's chant continued, "like a lion of the forest with a terror-striking countenance." Ali then struck and killed Marhab, which led to the capture of Khaibar.
