- The Iraqi president has issued a tough rebuke to Britain for what he claims is its role in continuing the war in Gaza, saying he is "extremely disappointed" in the UK government.
Speaking to Sky's Alex Crawford from the Presidential Palace in Baghdad, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid said it is the "duty of the international community to put an end to the suffering" of the Palestinian people.
The president added that he believes recent attacks on Gaza, especially those in which children have been killed, are "beyond anything which human rights can accept".

Dude...I cannot help but feel disdain for the hypocrisy coming out of his mouth. He blames the rest of the world, when he himself holds the key to both alleviate the suffering of Palestine people by answering their request to grant them temporary asylum, and hasten this war by momentarily removing them from danger. This has been the most pragmatic solution from day 1. I expected the some of the 52 neighboring Muslim states to OFFER temporary sanction to the Gazan people. But all 52 have unanimously denied every request to safe harbor. They will not allow for a single refugee b/c the Palestinian people are their one indespebsable weapon to pressure the world to oust the only remaining Jewish state on earth. Therefore these neighboring countries make the Gazan people their own dispensable tool to turn the 🌎 against Israel, while simultaneously harboring Hamas leaders to keep the war machine going.
Military Intervention: While a controversial option, military intervention by international coalitions could be considered to stop Israel's aggression and protect civilians. This could involve airstrikes on Israeli military targets or the deployment of ground forces to establish safe zones for civilians.
