This Sheldon kid was special, he's really starting to figure out how to put solid races together. Multiple top 10's and top 5's last year with some really good wins. Starting off strong this year. Definitely becoming one of the top guys out there night in night out. He's got one hell of a future in racing. Especially with NOS behind him

Depends what state they’re racing in. That was Texas. Shoulder to shoulder. Saw a few masks.

I’m wondering what are the sprint car rules? Does everybody have to use the same aero package or can they develop wing concepts? Probably not considering sprint cars have looked the same for many years. I feel like they could improve safety a bit as well
I think within the rules there exist wing dimensions and stuff. If you are curious about that, it will be on World of Outlaw's website, that will be your best source. In terms of car safety, manufacturers have to balance safety and speed, as a safer chassis could be slower, and being slower doesn't win you races. Safety is more in terms of the tracks rather than the cars since the safety of tracks differ greatly from venue to venue.
The chassis have came a LONG way on safety. Safer than they look. There is risk no matter what tho.

The "aero package" is based on the rule book. There are allowances for wing profile but it still must be a flat top wing if you're going to use a wicker bill. Dimensions are constant as far as sideboard height and wing square footage. Nose wings aren't as tightly regulated bust still have to conform. The hoods of the cars are different from team to team. Hope this helps.
Wings are for the most part the same but the driver is able to move it during the race forwards and backwards to achieve better bite

That one's on Reutzel. Didn't recognize the danger of getting trapped by lapped cars after Sweet passed him. Man it looked like they were under caution in turn 3 every time. I bet he won't make that mistake Saturday night.

Probably because he was the leader and the other car was a lapped car that would move. Just a guess though
Mr Daniel has to learn a little give and take when you’re a lapper racing with the leader.
Texas is only 2394 miles away from the West Coast..... that the World of Outlaws doesn't come to !!

@Dale Jones as others have stated there was a west coast swing on the early part of the schedule but was cancelled because of restrictions put in place by your politicians. East coast race series? I wouldn’t consider Minnesota east coast and I’ll make it to about 15 woo sprint races, 5 or 6 ira sprints, couple all star Sprints,a few Husets sprints and 3 or 4 woo late model races 😎maybe consider moving instead of bitching about things that are a product of where you choose to live and are not the fault of WOO✌️

Have you visited this facility? This track is just the same as many other dirt tracks on the circuit! Nothing wrong with the fencing...
That fencing saved my dad, I'd say it's doing its job.
