Our club quickly decided a new stadium was required and also discounted a rebuild as being illogical due to a need to house our fans during this process in my view. The board have cleverly drip fed options to our supporters so they come to an obvious conclusion a move is the only feasible option as we move towards an announcement of intent. We are down to two options, rebuild or Leazes Park, this will in turn encourage our fans to think through the process and fall in line with the unknown board option to locate the new stadium in Leazes Park. Your poll and others show the majority of our fans are moving from rebuild to concluding new build is the only logical option if we indeed have the same ambitions of our owners. Well done Toon fans and well played the board for allowing fans the space to conclude the obvious step in our historical development. We are UNITED❤❤
My 2 pence on St James Park, i really want a new stadium, but only if it’s the only option to expand. Coming from someone who lives Newcastle city centre there’s something special about looking over the toon and seeing our cathedral (St James) at the top of the hill overseeing the city and it being in a prime location to be seen from miles away, it feels electric seeing it from anywhere and gets you hyped for the next match, the ideal situation would be the stadium being build around at James in my opinion. Loved the stream and please make a playlist for all the music used man lads. 🖤🤍 up the mags
I love SJP…. But for the sake of building a new generation of ‘fan base’, deep flowing revenue, Sponsors, easy transfers, hotel facilities(I am willing to pay good money like many others), growth of small businesses for the whole community…. The world would flock to Newcastle in years to come!
The stadium. I love SJP, but here's my but. As I am disabled (and 46) I find a lot of SJP is old and could be a shed load of better (eg. I found the Emirates far easier in many regards (7-3 wasn't though!)).
