Thing is the reason the that the xG is so close in NUFC V BHA is because the last half hour we shut up shop and I don't think you had a shot in that time. I think that's quite encoraging from a BHA perspective. We're a bit like Spurs in that we often have one really terrible half and one really good/amazing one.

If my club behaved like that… I’d be worried lol Wez & Naz had a 5 year plan and they brought Emery in to execute it. I think the main difference between Villa and Newcastle has been, the unrest behind the scenes at Newcastle, the experience of the managers and this season I think the depth Villa have. I don’t say this as a gloat, it’s purely what I hear on fan podcasts and pundit talk . You’ve got fans from all over the place, concerned about losing certain players to injuries because they don’t have a sufficient enough replacement . Villa just don’t seem to have to worry about that other than Martinez. We just have strong options all over the park the season that should work in a favour towards the end of the season
So the £70m you lot saved in letting two excellent young players go (Who would be ideal for your situation now) was the amount that enabled you to bid £70 for Marc Guéhi.... and you didn't get him? Wow. No wonder you get in PSR trouble.
What could have been I wish we had got Emery instead of Howe…Eddie reached his ceiling 18 month ago he will never be good enough wish is was wrong but nothing he has ever done tells me he will
Sorry Calam Wison being injured is not unlucky. He is injured more often then he's fit. I like him 'when fit'. But you've known for a couple of seasons that Wilson is injury prone. You should've got some back-up becuse when Issak picks up a knock, relying on an injury prone player turns out to be a terrible idea. How surprising.
