Well, to be fair, they were completely different games. The XG in Bayern vs Barca was actually very similar--Barca just put away their chances (in an amazing way) and Bayern didn't. I feel like, whether you're a Barca fan or not, you can admit that the game could have gone either way until the 3rd goal. It was back and forth and both teams were foregoing defending on multiple occasions in order to score. No way De Jong just walks back into this team for Casado. He has been imperious this entire season and arguably one of Barca's top 3 performers. The main difference for me outside of increased verticality (which we saw under Lucho) is really the mentality of the players and physical conditioning. Flick has given these players more freedom and a different sense of belief.
