The best thing you should have is a DEF tester very good tester is avail on Amazon not expensive. Then you can quickly test what’s in you tank and also test the DEF before you put in your vehicle
After much research, it seems the age of the def and what temperature it was kept at is the issue. If it sits in the vehicle def tank, it still gets old. As long as the def fluid has the API rating and the date of manufacture is recent, it should be ok. You did the right thing by pumping it out. Put in brand new fresh def and that should take care of that situation. Yes?
@@fkmylifecraziestvideosonth112 at the dealership they told me about a Sensor but honestly im not sure what sensor because the cost to repair it was too much, 25 hundred, so I decided to have it DELETED.
@@adria1708 ya I spend $3000 on random replacement parts and it's still not repaired lol sad....but since I've got the "no start, service DEF" I installed a push start directly into the starter relay and it starts and runs fine everyday! You can also use a wire to jump start as long as the ignition is at the run position, It's a hack I seen on RUclips haha actually works well if your ever in a situation.
I use the same brand DEF for my car bmw 328d xdrive. I have message after 2 mount ago Drive-train malfunction and check engine light is ON on dash board. Does possible this malfunction from this DEF? Thanks.

Did you ever discover what the problem was?
YES, and According to the Dealer, it was DEF injector and some other sensor, and it could have been damaged by an old DEF
