- A brief tutorial video explaining how to download and use the Neuro Desktop Editor for Source Audio's C4 Synth on a Microsoft Windows computer. Use the Neuro Desktop Editor to easily download user presets or create your own user presets for the C4 Synth - Source Audio's high-powered synthesizer pedal for guitar or bass.
This is a heads up for buyers : if you don't want to be your C4 pedal barely usable on day one, make sure you have one of those mini-usb type B cables around as shown at 0:33 , because it is not included in the pedal (for that price!). Telling that, because i got my C4 pedal from a dealer in europe and it costed me around 310eur (that's about $343.16 USD) here. I had no spare mini usb cables of that type nowhere around, NEITHER i had any stereo-jack to lightning port converters for iphone to use for the neuro ios app. So except playing around with default square/sin wave and cutoff filters that are in the pedal in its default/dumb unconnected state i could do nothing else. This is how i got my very first experience with Source Audio product ruined on day one!
Yeah, ridiculous that the cable isn't included. Why not?
@@hughallan7513 the cables are like $2 bucks from ebay - why havent you already got a handfull of em from other devices you've bought like I have ?
@@pgpete wow from ebay, really? Amazing. Because I don't have other devices lying around with that cable, like you.
@@hughallan7513 here ya go - ebay.us/lN4UNe
@@pgpete for the record, I just bought one and they do come with a cable now...
How to access the 6 presets from the pedal? Square, circle and triangle makes for 3
Can your tape tempo with mini jack pedal be used to scroll between presets on the c4 synth?
I'm on a mac, and my pedal wont show up under the connections window- any ideas?
Where can I dowload Neuro desktop editor? Site doesn't work
Is the pedal conected to an amp or to an interface???
For this video we recorded directly to an amp simulation in Logic.
Is this only for the C4 or is this for all Source Audio pedals?
The Neuro process is pretty much the same for all of the Source Audio One Series pedals.
@@sourceaudioeffects oh wow. I didn't know there was a desktop editor available. I thought it was new. Thank you!
I dont even bother going onto the "community" section for this pedal any more because you get nothing but troll presets where people make a preset that is ultra loud, there is no way to know what to expect because they do not have a dislike button but only a like button represented by a heart emoji.
I love the pedal but the community presets are a complete and utter waste of time, especially for the guys making them trying to damage peoples hearing because with having experience of what to expect, now people won't even bother listening to them therefore they don't get that hard on that they are after by trying to annoy people.
So complicated!!!
Can't believe you didn't include a USB cord. $239 pedal and not a $.79 cord???
LAME!
I hate this pedal with a passion. Presets are unusable as are 90% of the community presets. Had it for a year and can't program anything that's musical in a live situation. I had one patch I programmed and kind of liked. Saved it to the #1 bay. When I went to hit it live, it wasn't the same patch. And now they've done a "software upgrade", which has made it so now I can't edit it thru my phone and the USB connection to the computer fails at random times, losing any work I had done and even crashing the computer. What a waste of a lot of money and time. Selling it.
