The build up had me thinking it was going to be something truly special! Imagine my laughter as I see it's a McDonald's...LOL! But I get it. When my husband and I lived in Crete, he got tired of the local cuisine, which meant we had to make a trip over to Athens to the area "American" section of the city that had several US fast food places including an Applebee's (which I read is no longer there). He was elated! I think he may have ordered everything on the Applebee's menu just to experience a little bit of "home." I have to admit, while there, I did enjoy the Dunkin Donuts. Although Greece had some fabulous pastries, having a chocolate glazed donut with my morning coffee is a simple pleasure I had missed when we lived there. Hey Seoul Man! Glad to see you're doing well. Stay safe! See you on your next adventure.
There’s is something to be said about comfort food for sure☺️. It’s funny because I’ve never really thought the McRib was anything tasty, but once in a long while I’ll feel like having a few bites of one.. In N Out on the other hand 😋😋😋😋. Hope all is well with you!!
We just ate lunch while enjoying your video. We wondered what meal this is during the entirety of the video. Naming all kinds of HK classics. However the end result was not what was expected I think some things taste better when you're a kid though. We had a thing called Georgie pie when we were kids and Mc Donalds bought them out and shut them down in NZ. Ppl in NZ campaigned for years to get it back and finally Mc Donalds brought them back for a while... It didn't taste as good as memory serves hahahaha
So true. Nostalgia can be deceiving. I used to reminisce with my friend how this Kung Fu movie (5 Deadly Venoms) was the best movie ever. We went on for years and years until one day we found a DVD (might have been VHS) of it. We bought it and planned this whole pizza party viewing around it. It was so disappointing. Maybe with all the high speed action nowadays it just seemed like they were really slow… Georgie Pie sounds promising 😁. The McRib is awful.. so awful it’s quite good. Did they ever have them in NZ?
@@SeoulMan2020 We did have them but our version just had a Mc Rib and some BBQ sauce that was it. I dunno if the one in America was different? It certainly wasn't all fancy like the one in HK.
Hello, Seoul man I'm the one who worked out with you at CrossFit in Seongsu-dong. In the past, there was a video of you riding a bicycle from Seoul to Busan for the anniversary, but I can't see it. I used to watch it from time to time because it's an uplifting video, where can I watch it?
안녕하세요! How are you doing? I really enjoyed making that video, but I took it down for personal reasons. Maybe I can send you a personal link to it. Happy to hear it is an uplifting video for you… that ride across Korea was one of the most memorable things I have done 🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷. Hope you are healthy and well 💪
@@SeoulMan2020 Haha no. They never had it in singapore. Well I did try to take some vids during the trip but haven't got time to sort them out yet. I realize i also screwed up some of the focusing for some shorts. We'll see. I don't really have a story to fit them in. Everything is just kinda random. 😓
@@SeoulMan2020 I loved it like 25 years ago haha I haven't had one for at least 15 years. Recently tried the Big Mac BLT in Korea but just confirmed why I stopped going to McDonald's haha

@@PeterandYen the McRib has bbq sauce, onions and pickles. Can’t imagine why I ate them as a teenager, but then again, makes total sense why I did.
