Prawn Fishing Restaurant in Vietnam | 베트남 새우낚시 전문점
While in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, I wanted to try something new. I read about prawn fishing restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City, and decided to give it a try. I decided on Hồ Câu Tôm Giải Trí Thanh Đa, and was very impressed. The staff was very helpful and patient teaching me how to fish for prawns. I ended up catching 5 prawns in about 5 hours. Once you catch the prawns, you can have the restaurant on site prepare them in a variety of ways. I chose to have them grilled. The prawns were juicy, sweet, and delicious. The total cost for fishing, pole rentals, bait, and having the prawns prepared was about $12 USD or so. I had a great time!

@@PeterandYen I've been enjoying Mongolia a lot. I don't see many tourists at all, and I would say a lot of things are not geared towards tourists. For example, at the international airport the bus schedule/information for getting into the main city is not translated to English. From my limited knowledge, Mongolian cuisine doesn't use spices/herbs much (due to the harsh climate it is not cultivated) so the food tastes like what it is...which I have been quite enjoying. I get weird cravings for the basic flavors here. It's a good break from all the overly flavorful foods I'm used to eating and enjoying. A lot of mutton, which I enjoy 😁

@@SeoulMan2020 Must be such a cool trip that you're having! love unique experiences like this. I imagine that all the Mongolian restaurants overseas are catered for foreign tastes cause there is no way that a natural flavour restaurant will take off in most countries. The build up had me thinking it was going to be something truly special! Imagine my laughter as I see it's a McDonald's...LOL! But I get it. When my husband and I lived in Crete, he got tired of the local cuisine, which meant we had to make a trip over to Athens to the area "American" section of the city that had several US fast food places including an Applebee's (which I read is no longer there). He was elated! I think he may have ordered everything on the Applebee's menu just to experience a little bit of "home." I have to admit, while there, I did enjoy the Dunkin Donuts. Although Greece had some fabulous pastries, having a chocolate glazed donut with my morning coffee is a simple pleasure I had missed when we lived there. Hey Seoul Man! Glad to see you're doing well.
