Weatherford is an awesome small town. Please don't make it grow too much. It's perfect right now, just the way it is. GREAT Video!

We actually mention it in other videos, but good catch. Texas definitely has tornado's and storms.

As someone who's lived in Weatherford for 15 years and went to high school here, I feel the need to share my experience. Sure, no place is perfect, but I've mostly had a positive time here.
Weatherford is a growing country town with old folks who have differing opinions. Despite that, it has a mix of people many who are really welcoming and supportive whether you're Black, LGBTQ+, or Asian.
I don't support racism or discrimination in any form, and a lot of people in our community feel the same way. Honestly, I've had far worse experiences during my daily commute to Dallas.
It's important to remember that a few bad experiences don't speak for everyone. Let's not let the actions of a few overshadow the good and the potential for positive change in our community.
If you're looking for that comfortable hometown feel with people who are happy to pull over and help you when you break down, Weatherford is a great place to start. It's a happy medium between the big city and podunk nowhere.
And when it comes to tornadoes, it's no different than the rest of Central Texas really.
