Yeah, it's definitely hard to believe in it sometimes. But I've had too many experiences, along with family members to not believe in it.

That was a great story. One of my favorite yet. Thank's to Travis for sending it. Very well produced too. The background music and ambient sound was perfectly balanced with the narration. The detective reminded me of my Grandpaw. He used to wear a hat like that when l was a youngun.

Jared, I absolutely loved this story. It was so haunting, familiar and surreal. My grandma had 'the sight' and she told me I did. Scared me to death. BUT, on occasion, when I dream something, it comes true. I know it will too. Don't want to see no Haunt though.

Okay Jared, I was listening to Jim Stafford's 'Swamp Witch' song going home, which I hadn't heard in decades, and this story is here when I get home! Weird! Much thanks to Travis Cole for giving you this story to tell. I'm glad that Edward knew who to go to for an answer and the killer was caught. I hope he learned to use his 'sight' as he got older. Amen still have two and two innocent people in. Two separate states are in prison for a crime they didn't commit we did resolve one case the wrongfully convicted was released there's still two more

@JarodKingTV an almost forgotten graveyard fact now considered lore.
If a person/woman was considered a witch, when she died, an iron cage covered the grave. Or a metal preferably iron trough was placed on the grave. The trough was kept full of water. These graves were almost always set off to the side of the graveyard or cemetery.
It was believed that the spirit the witch could not pass through the iron grate/cage. Nor could a witche's spirit cross water.
I'm in my 60s now, but as a child I remember seeing both the cages and troughs on graves. I'd go with my grandma to decorate graves. I'd ask her about those graves. She'd tell me I was to young to know. As a child I thought that the troughs were to water birds and animals maybe the local horses.
Later I found out the true reasons.

I seen one with a rot iron bar hammered down beside the grave into the ground and seen one that had a huge stone of limestone shaped in an old style coffin shape ⚰️ and it laid over the top of the grave. Mighty strange indeed. Thanks so much for sharing that sister. God bless and have a good'n
@@JaredKingTV if you have any old timers they might know about those graves. The wrought iron sounds a lot like the keeping the witch's spirit contained. It's more about iron if I remember it.
I very much like your channel. Many stories take me back to when I was a little child, listening to grandparents and kin folk talking.
