Wow can I just say, as someone with her EXACT hair texture, seeing how you handled her hair, didn't make fun or belittle her or ask why it wasn't blow dried just warmed my heart and gave me so much hope. I can't go anywhere without first blowdrying and hot combing my hair to death JUST to get serviced and as strong as I am and as much as I've worked to love and work with the hair I have, it does hurt to get those type of comments and just rudeness for someone I'm coming to for a service. You perfectly balance professionalism with care while still doing amazing work. Keep doing what you're doing and hopefully other stylists and braiders can take note. We're all a community.
My hair looks just like this lady's. This is the 4c hair I want to see. Everyone with natural hair doesnt have or want super defined loose curls. This is real. This is 4c hair no product. This is 4c hair with no manipulation.
This was 4c hair put up and away. No product etc doesn’t mean it’s healthy or the goal. It’s just what it looks like after a wash and keeping it in ponytails all the time ( as her hairdresser and her said that was her go to style every other day after conditioning). This is my texture too when my hair is dry or just unstyled and cowashed. As soon as o start thoroughly moisturizing my hair, with a half assed twistout because my arms get tired sometimes, I get a more defined and clumped pattern depending on if I finger detangle or use a denman brush. If I moisturize on wet hair after a wash day it’ll look looser mostly because it’s being weighed down by all the water and product… but we can’t forget we’ve got multiple textures in our head. I’ve got zigzags and coils and random loops all on one strand. None of my locs are the same. I say type 4 bad leave it at that. The majority might be 4c but the rest isn’t. And it’s really just supposed to help us find close matches to our own hair, it’s not a hair Bible though. Leave the stress of trying to match it up exactly alone lol
How about if youre not willing to learn to style and all kinds of hair, i honestly wouldnt know where to start on this hair texture and my hair is curly 3c tight thick curls but i dont and i am a hair stylist its just about willingness to learn and being honest if you know you are not yet skilled in something to give a person the look they want
It’s amazing to be how black women judge each other! It’s a terrible thing when we have come from so far in life as a people! We have to do better and love each other! It’s US against Everyone! Great job BTW! She’s cute!
This is exactly my hair texture and for the longest I thought my hair texture wasn't the best but I'm realizing how beautiful this texture really can be. Thanks for representing and promoting all hair types.
As somebody with 4c hair, I love seeing videos like these! Cause our hair is manageable when you know how to work with it! It just takes a lil extra love and tlc, but when you nurture it, it flourishes 😍
Me personally I have 3c hair but every time I see my friend or anyone else with 4c hair I just love when they leave it out naturally it’s so beautiful perfect for a lot of good styles and it just makes me wanna style their hair, it would never be ugly you just gotta give it some love and the appreciation it deserves 😍
Wow, you are a true hairstylist!!! Many stylists that I know, esp. in Florida require clients with 4C thick texture hair to have their hair fully blown out before doing their desire style. And if the hair isn't blown out, there is an extra charge, which is ridiculous. I like the fact that you took your time on your client's hair! It turned out amazing!!!
Detangling hair is time consuming, and hard work. Hence the reason most people want the stylist to do it. People should be paid for their time. No stylist should have to work for free. Do you?
I have 4c hair and I don't blame her. Washing and detangling my thick afro takes time. I honestly would charge extra if I have to detangle someone hair before braiding it if I was a hair stylist. If I have to wash and detangle someone hair before I braid it I would charge extra also.
4c hair is manageable when you know how to care for it naturally! This will always be her texture so stop saying she needs to do this and that, & SO MANY OF YALL HATE YOUR OWN DAMN HAIR!! ESPECIALLY 4C! ACCEPT YOURSELF AND STOP BASHING YOUR OWN PEOPLE!
I can’t believe you did the whole hairstyle in 2.5 hours, especially since she has soo much hair! It looks amazing! Great job! Thanks for sharing your work!

I really like the way you talk to her! Going on this journey with my daughters hair brought me across so many videos where women were belittled for their hair type and I’m always trying to build her up and teach her an appreciation for her curls no matter how difficult they can be!
It makes me sad that any black person would tell a black woman she can't get any type of braids smh , if people don't know how to braid natural thick hair then just say so . Braids were made for us period . I'm mixed but I am a black woman & I can't stand how people always wanna degrade black women whewww we are everything ❤❤
Braiding is one of the most dominant forms of black hair styling. There is no black hair texture that cannot be braided when it has been perfected and tailored to our hair types by our people over centuries.

I have 4c hair myself and i absolutely love it. I was a loose natural for 4 1/2 years before I loc’d it. It definitely saddens me that 4c hair is so looked down on, yes it can be harder to manage if you don’t know how to take care of it properly, but it’s still beautiful along with the person who was blessed with that crown. With the right products, proper care, and speaking life into your hair you’d be surprised what 4c hair can do! That shrinkage is crazy and the gravity it can defy ??? Whew Y’all are both very beautiful women by the way 💜 Be blessed
This video makes me so happy for some reason, the two black women doing hair at home reminds me of my childhood, the 4c hair, the baby, the convo and vibez. Love. Subscribed, liked and all that.
I’m going to try that on my daughter hair she has the same texture we’re both natural but I have to take her to Africans to do her hair and detangle and wash cause it so thick hopefully it work I can save some money
Oils in shampoo really help. Finding a moisturizing shampoo with oils already in it might be better so you don't create buildup during the cleansing step. Something about the way products are formulated and the oils are mixed in just feels different. I wonder if her hair was that coarse due to product buildup. My hair can look like that when it's coated and I've been slapping heavy creams and oils on my hair, making it stiff and dry. Beautiful hair. She just needs a good deep cleanse to remove that and soften it up.
I use head and shoulder and some olive oil after I let her sit for 20 min then I use some tea tree container mix with apple cider vinger and let her sit for 20 min she was good
I love working with 4c hair! It’s important for stylist to wash the clients hair really good and have a expensive blow dryer to straighten their hair. The pure excitement of them even seeing their hair as straight as I get it is everything! Not everyone knows how to work with 4c hair
You are so true. Your doing an amazing job. It is awesome when we as Cosmetologists can educate our clients on the proper health care and maintenance of taking care of hair. I’m so proud of you. Keep up the good work hun.

This was an absolutely charming video. I love to see how you young women relate to each other and the baby - and your cousin. There's a lot of love in that room and in your work. Your styling skills are great. And yes, it's soooo sad for us, in these days and times that we still don't love and appreciate our hair and our traditional hair arts. That's all right, we're winning anyhow. Thanks for the vid.
Thoroughly enjoying pop ups of the little 🤴🏾🤎💙. Y'all just don't know how much I appreciate seeing her natural beautiful texture. I have the SAME! Growing up on the 80s and 90s my texture was hated by our people, and made me feel ashamed of it. So grateful my girls get to grow up in a time where natural is more accepting then back then. Great work!
You said it, lady. I knew nothing about the Yellow Bird blow dryer when I bought mine (the first time). It took me a few uses to really let it sink in: it’s not (any other) new products. It’s this new blow-dryer. Cut my drying time in HALF with excellent smooth results. Best dryer to this day. And I’ve bought more expensive blow dryers but they’re not a bit better than the yellow bird.
I have her same hair texture, and I’ll never forget the time I went to a stylist for middle part 2 layer braids, and the stylist charged me $20 extra the day of my appt bc my hair was “too thick” the ghetto 😂😂 like ma’am what if I didn’t have that extra 20..
Wow...The nerve. Thick is healthy. I wish I wouldn't have thinned out my 4c hair with all these relaxers. I'm about to cut it off and start over. Some people just don't have the patience or knowledge to deal with 4c texture hair. Just plain ignorant
You payed the extra $20?! Naaah my hair wouldn’t have been done lol then again I don’t have that texture of hair so idk the struggle of doing it myself so maybe I would’ve been right in that chair with my lunch money missing too lol
I love 4c hair. I have 4c hair and when its pressed or natural I wore some beautiful styles thru the years. I was never a good at up keeping my hair, I didn't fret on the days my hair would swell, I even miss those days because those were some of the more beautiful times in my life. You worked what you had and it worked. Dippity do was my best friend. The good old days. Sitting in the chair by the stove getting my hair done by my mother, and those pretty easter dresses and white patent leather shoes and that little purse. Things have changed but our beautiful 4c hair has more versatility. Her hair is beautiful and those braids are g ou gorgeous on her.
Some of us are still learning and struggling with our own texture. It it just recently that you could find hair stylists that are willing to deal with natural hair. Back in the 90s, in my town there was only 1 and she was only doing braids and twists without extensions. If not, it was the creamy crack or the hot combs for everyone.
But why??? If it don’t apply to them they shouldn’t have too.Now if they are hair stylist who do every race hair than yes, other than that other races are not obligated to know how to do hair that doesn’t apply to them.
After you have a baby your hair texture can also change. I know mines did, my stylist was tripping on how thick my hair was. Then soon after that it started shedding and my stylist thought I waa stressing 😒. For the rude commented 🤫🤫🤫 Congratulations to your client on her new baby🥳❤!!!

Afro textured hair is the most versatile type of hair on the planet. And I am a cosmetologist. Looking at the nape and sides of this young lady her hair hasn't been properly cared for in a while. However, once this hair type receives the tlc it needs it's stunning🥰😊
As a 4Cer, I appreciate your energy. I loved your vibe so much I went to your IG to see about booking. I'm out of state and was ready to book a flight. My little feelings got hurt when I saw no new clients. 😢 Wishing you continued success.
It was good to see this, I’ve met so many hair stylists who’ve been rude to me/charge me extra because I have thick hair. They purposely do my hair roughly, like they comb it dry which breaks my hair off, and fuss at me because I didn’t shampoo/blowdry/moisturize my hair at home…
It's because they hate your hair....don't value it because it's too far from straight hair. What matters is that you love it. I love my thick coily hair.
Tell them if you wanted to do it yourself you could have stayed at home. They get to do it because you pay them to. These stylists are out of there godamn minds.
I just got knotless braids done for the first time and I came blow dried but my roots are thick and kinky and the girl comb through my hair with a rattail comb so it was hurting at times 😫 I’m not going back to her ever again

This is my hair texture. It is very thick and I love it.
Exactly been waiting to see someone’s hair like mines
THISSS!
👏👏👏👏
If you can’t do all types of hair, your not a real hairstylist!!!
Shoutout to you because your kind and you did that💅🏽
Facts!
She did that!!
is you 'precious^'?
Exactly
How about if youre not willing to learn to style and all kinds of hair, i honestly wouldnt know where to start on this hair texture and my hair is curly 3c tight thick curls but i dont and i am a hair stylist its just about willingness to learn and being honest if you know you are not yet skilled in something to give a person the look they want
It’s amazing to be how black women judge each other! It’s a terrible thing when we have come from so far in life as a people! We have to do better and love each other! It’s US against Everyone! Great job BTW! She’s cute!
Keep 💯 💯 so true
💯
This is exactly my hair texture and for the longest I thought my hair texture wasn't the best but I'm realizing how beautiful this texture really can be. Thanks for representing and promoting all hair types.
True statement is true our hair is so beautiful 🤩
As somebody with 4c hair, I love seeing videos like these! Cause our hair is manageable when you know how to work with it! It just takes a lil extra love and tlc, but when you nurture it, it flourishes 😍
ANYWAYSSS that baby is so adorable 🥺
Lord the way she was holding him head moving like a bobble head toy..

I can’t lie, I fast-forwarded the hell out of this video. I absolutely love the finishing hairstyle in the end.
I did the same bc I needed to see her work them hands 🙌🏽
I did the same. I felt stressed for the woman in the beginning. But she got SERIOUS SKILLS
Me too LOLLL🤣🤣🤣 It had to much going on LOLLL
Me too!!
Chile I wouldn’t shout I only saw her separate the hair and straight to the end I went🤦🏽♀️
I like your personality. Your customer service skills is uplifting, graceful and compassionate.
Facts
Fr this is true sadly
Seriously!!??

Thank u bc I’m tired of hearing black women bash their own hair. 😒 I love my hair. Thick n all!
I can’t believe you did the whole hairstyle in 2.5 hours, especially since she has soo much hair! It looks amazing! Great job! Thanks for sharing your work!
This is my favorite hair to do! 😍 it holds styles so well. Personally, I fell like if you can't do 4c hair you can't really do hair.
Omg pana I know I probably already said this but thank you so much if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t know how to do my box braids my feed in braids to anything you taught me a lot and I’m only 12 years old and I already had 3 clients and I’m about to have my 4th client and I look up to you🥺THANK YOU SO MUCH I LOVE YOUUUU 🤍I really hope you see this

I love she is getting this time for her and baby gets to be right there. This was so fun and informative and lovely to watch. Just beautiful.
I just love her reality videos. This is my first time watching her. She's for real. Her hair braiding is amazingly beautiful.
You are so lovely. Your spirit and humbleness are contagious. The key word is through. We make it through! Keep allowing Christ to use you as an example and a beautiful inspiration.🙏🏾❣️
Pana, the model, and the baby are all so beautiful! The style turned out gorgeous!
Where are you from...?
I am Costa Rican
I really like the way you talk to her! Going on this journey with my daughters hair brought me across so many videos where women were belittled for their hair type and I’m always trying to build her up and teach her an appreciation for her curls no matter how difficult they can be!
Your hands are blessed. My hair texture is like hers and I thought I couldn't get this style because of it. Looks great
It makes me sad that any black person would tell a black woman she can't get any type of braids smh , if people don't know how to braid natural thick hair then just say so .
This was so damn REAL!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ sis SIS SSIIISSSSSSS…I don’t think you understand how hard it is to find a stylist that just does hair and does it well..THIS IS YOU. I’m following you just because of that and how well you treated this client
These braids were done to perfection, and she's so pretty!

I’m finally glad to see someone who doesn’t complain about there natural thick hair clients!
The sound of the hair dryer is EVERYTHING to the baby…he’s so precious omgggggg 🥰🥰🥰 my kids loved the salon when I would go get my hair blown out 🤓 I love to see a mother treat herself 💝
Shout out to you for stretching her hair before AND helping her to the car. You is a GEM.
Whew
Y’all are both very beautiful women by the way 💜
Be blessed
This video makes me so happy for some reason, the two black women doing hair at home reminds me of my childhood, the 4c hair, the baby, the convo and vibez. Love. Subscribed, liked and all that.
Add oil to her shampoo and let her sit for 20 min and conditioner the oil will help break the hair down and Detangler
Thanks for the tip ! I didn’t do her wash today but I will def try this.
I’m going to try that on my daughter hair she has the same texture we’re both natural but I have to take her to Africans to do her hair and detangle and wash cause it so thick hopefully it work I can save some money
I’m going to use that tip
Not everyone knows how to work with 4c hair
how you do it with no heat?
You are so true. Your doing an amazing job. It is awesome when we as Cosmetologists can educate our clients on the proper health care and maintenance of taking care of hair. I’m so proud of you. Keep up the good work hun.
All hair is beautiful, we have to learn to love&nuture what we have & disregard the shaming, placed upon us throughout history&society, self 💘, is essential as well as good deeds& you are truely blessed for always blessing the CROWNS of all Queens.....
She looks beautiful before and after.
Naaah my hair wouldn’t have been done lol
then again I don’t have that texture of hair so idk the struggle of doing it myself so maybe I would’ve been right in that chair with my lunch money missing too lol
I was leaving
@Keisha that’s a damn shame she charged you extra for your natural, thick hair. The self hate is real
Excellent job!!! I didn't even think it was possible to get these braids without having straight hair.
That adorable baby was winning that staring contest!! Dozing off eyes open lol. So cayuteeeee.🥰🥰
😂😂😂 I loved the whole vibe of the video. Especially the soccer ball!!! Her hair and little man is so beautiful and precious.
Giving birth took out my edges. Thank you for showing love to all this realness 😍
I wish ppl of different races would EDUCATE THEMSELVES on how to do OUR HAIR!!! Also the child is BEAUTIFUL before and after her hair was done
Some of them are..
There’s a lot who does know how to do our hair!
The Egyptians learned
But why??? If it don’t apply to them they shouldn’t have too.Now if they are hair stylist who do every race hair than yes, other than that other races are not obligated to know how to do hair that doesn’t apply to them.
I don’t judge people go through their own struggles. Life is hard and gets to the best of us sometimes.
I agree!
Idc what none of them haters say. You are so gifted blessings to you sis!!!
Using the comb for each part of the braid made it so perfectly uniform. Well done
This is calming to me. Just imagining being at your friends house getting your hair done. I don’t have friends lol
Absolutely stunning and just love how she loves her precious baby!!!!!
Her natural hair is beautiful, same texture and density as mine. So thick! Love it.
Braids came out really good!
Thanks so much ! She’s always had really thick hair she’s been on my channel multiple times !
From one stylist to another I love the passion u have for ur craft and braiding you the business I've seen several videos of yours and there's nothing to be debated you're the best keep up the excellent work young sister sending love from DC
Wow very thick hair, what we all want. As a mom with a newborn you hair is the last thing on your list. So nice of you to do that for her and what an amazing job you did!
I have locs idk why I’m here 🤣 I think I just love watching the intricacies and transformations that are possible on black hair! great work. ❤️
The hair stylist has done a wonderful job, so very talented
I legit watch these vids while I braid my daughters hair! I love the stories and good vibes! 💜💜💜💜💜
Same! The stories are hilarious! I love Bray’s energy and personality.😊😂🫶🏽
Exactly some people just don’t know how to take care of their hair
I got a Revlon brush blow dryer for my clients and never turned back. I got so tired of those combs breaking and popping off. Try one girl ♥️
I don’t have 4c hair but it’s thick and I hate when someone combs through my scalp roughly. Or braid too right where I end up with bumps on my scalp
@@queenbee4906 same happens to me all the time that’s why I just wear headband wigs
I just got knotless braids done for the first time and I came blow dried but my roots are thick and kinky and the girl comb through my hair with a rattail comb so it was hurting at times 😫 I’m not going back to her ever again
*THATS LITERALLY my exact hair type lol love to see it being recognized more and more♡*

We hate it because the oppressor has made us hate it … what it is .. is that they actually hate it…and since they dragged us into this country they been hating us and killing us and oppressing us … they control everything…. They hate our skin .. they hate us reproducing… they hate us loving each other … they hate our hair .. they hate the way we talk … they just hate … we need to wake up and wisen up … and get back to our God and start loving each other …
I fell asleep watching a video after eating dinner & popcorn. I woke up to this video playing and continued to watch it until the end; I fast forward just a little.
