Hell yeah. Heart of Darkness is my favourite too. I was just thinking to myself today that Chris Boltendahl is the embodiment of all that is metal. I can appreciate the very first ones, but they are a bit too 'rough' for me at times. Grave Digger is an amazingly consistent band, the only album they released that I found disappointing was Heald By Metal, though I'm still going to revisit it at one point (and I still have to check out Fields of Blood and Symbol of Eternity).
For me: 18) War Games 17) WitchHunter 16) Clash of the Gods 15) The Living Dead 14) The Last Supper 13) Liberty or Death 12) The Reaper 11) The Clans Will Rise Again 10) Healed by Metal 9) Rheingold 8) Heavymetal Breakdown 7) Return of the Reaper 6) The Grave Digger 5) Ballad of a Hangman 4) Excalibur 3) Heart of Darkness 2) Tunes of War 1) Knigths of the Cross!

Lol they became famous with Tunes of war....are you serious or you take some pills ?! Just because you knew about the band back then, does not mean they became famous then!
In Greece for example, many metalheads started to listen to them because of this album. Of course albums as The Reaper or Heart of Darkness were known even before.
@@mordechaifrizis7231 I remember when it was the "The grave digger" tour I went to Athens to see my friend Manni Schmidt (at that time a guitarist in the band) It was an amazing concert in Rodon Hall. in Greece they may not have been known but in the rest of Europe they are legends since the release of"War games"
Quite interesting take on Grave Digger albums. Actually I really like ' Liberty Or Death ' and I am surprised to see it on the last place :) Cheers !
Greetings from Argentina. I absolutely agree with heart of darkness and symphony of dearh. My third choice would be The reaper though
