The 'childish' comment was about the radio messages from other teams (merc) to influence the stewards. It is totally being put out of context by the media by thinking it was aimed at Verstappen. Wishful thinking.
lewis won 6/7 championships with the most dominant car in F1 history, statistically speaking. If anyone fits the bill you are describing, it’s Hamilton. He hasn’t really impressed me vs Russell at all, only recently has he done decently.

I’m not denying Hamilton was good, but he’s past those days now. He’s a decent driver but not much more these days. If he can’t beat GR he’d get eaten alive by Verstappen. Don’t even think that’s really debatable either. Atleast to anyone who is objective…
Everyone is better with a faster car. There’s no doubt Max is a champion driver. Even now he can get more out of the car when the car is not at its best. Tbh I’m glad to see this year is a more competitive!
As much as Max is at fault, its crazy that GP just basically called him a child. Hes a 3 time WDC. Have a little respect for him. Imagine engineers speaking to Schumi, Senna or Lewis like that.
