Pastor Skeete, check your script. Man is not divine! Is an image the real or attributes of the real(original)? Not even "Lucifer" was divine. Does the "image to the beast" make the "image" the "beast"? Be careful of your emotion!
Genesis 1:26, God made us in His image, after His Likeness... This means the character of God! Like He Created us to have His Divine Character. This is what sin took away from us and This is what Christ came to restore. For instance, we all know that God is love & love is Divine 1John 4:7, so if we love our neighbors as ourselves, we portray the divine image & likeness of our Creator.
