It's a blessing to listen to you pastor , I'm going through so much trials but I'm standing my ground in Christ , I would always ask ,what Jesus would do ?
Camelle, it is good to know you are claiming God in you. God is the vine and we are the branches. Our perplexities are simple tests that are not worthy to compare with the gifts Jesus has gone to prepare for us.
I will be praying with you. God will change and remedy all our situations congruent with our willingness to allow Him.
The love of God is in you, be loved and be Love.

Very good Sermon, jus one major disagreement, if Christ raised himself, He didn’t really die. And. If Christ did not die you and I do not have a savior, the confusion is in the Trinity doctrine. One God in three persons is considered a metaphor. You can’t separate the Son from the Father therefore the Son couldn’t really had die. Before 1931 SDA didn’t believe in the Trinity. The Trinity became official in 1981, General conference
Deuteronomy 29:29 says "The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law."
We would do well to surrender to the idea that we don't know nor understand all things about GOD and the Only Begotten Son.
Jesus said the words HIMSELF in John 10:181 "No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father."
Jesus laid down HIS life, took it up again. This is beyond human comprehension. Its a GOD thing and quite frankly, none of our business on the how.
We are called to believe that HE lived, bled and died and then was raised again so that we can be JUSTIFIED by Faith and be made RIGHTEOUS by Faith.
We see in a glass darkly many things, we don't have perfect vision nor understanding, but WE TRUST that GOD'S WORD is true and trustworthy.

@@msladymack1960 If we go by the weight of evidence to prove a teaching, the majority of the scriptures proved that God the Father raised His Son from death. John 10:18 alone when taken on the surface seems like the only contradiction to the rest.. However, dead men know nothing, thus Christ in dead knew nothing. Nothing in His subconscious mind was alive. He was asleep in death just like everyone else. Therefore, It was the Father that raised or resurrected the Son. Read John 10:18 again, It was the Father that gave the commandment or reassurance to Jesus that he would receive his life back again. No wonder the angel on behalf of God the Father, came down from heaven to remove the stone from the tomb and call Jesus out from the grave by the power and command of God the Father. If Jesus raised himself, then there was no need for the angel to come down and remove the stone because Jesus easily could have done that by Himself. Blessings..

Pastor explained it was at God’s command that Christ raised Himself. Jesus Christ IS obedient unto death, even the death of the cross AND obedient to rise as He was commanded. Amen.
Respectfully I disagree with your pastor advising you against the teaching of the word of God. Death means the cessation of life. For a person to be dead, means that person no longer has life in any parts of his body. Please goggle how many times did the scriptures teach that God the Father raised Jesus.
