Alex, You are the master at incorporating cards and imagery together. It flows so naturally between you showing the card and then presenting the story. It doesn’t feel like I am watching a PowerPoint or pieced together footage to tell the story. You have a gift but you always seem to push yourself to be better. A great example of that is the ending where you show the other cards. I respect and appreciate that. You know it’s good when the presentation almost makes me forget about the card which is beautiful by the way. Well done, my friend.
Love that image of Wheat. Definitely an underrated HOFer from that era. I loved in some of the other photos you used you can see the old Brooklyn logos on his cap.
Such a beautiful Zack Wheat exhibit card Alex! Your presentation and information about Wheat was fantastic as always! Really an under appreciated player!
I think Zack Wheat really gets lost when we look back at the historic Brooklyn/LA Dodger franchise. For me he is easily one of the top flight players in the team's history. He was a lethal bat in their lineup. He came up as a youngster and still had his last prime year up to the age of 37. Great find with this pickup! I love seeing those striped bats. I've read so many SABR bios, I still go back to those I've read before. Thanks for sharing!
Somehow I missed this video. Sorry man! Just like our Sunday night chats it was “time well wasted”. 😀 loved every minute of it… all 5! Thanks for sharing!
You take us back to another era in such a stylish and artistic way, Alex. Love the card, and the history behind a wonderful player. Thank you for putting in the effort to make such great content. A wonderful start to the New Year for you, no question. Well done! Take care, Rob.
Great get. I've had my eye on that card for a while, along with the Sisler Exhibits from the same set, also a horizontal card, but that one is fielding.
Very nice video Alex , always enjoy your video's. I'm glad you have added a new pre war card to your collection. I have always enjoyed this card along with the George Sisler from the same set. Congratulations!!

Another great one 🎉

Nice, Wheat's minors experience kind of reminds me of Ichiro, who was also told that his unconventional approach needed re-tooling.
Yes definitely! Thanks for the thought Tony.
