Currently researching for my own m54 turbo build and this was a great walkthrough of some of the process! Thank you, and keep going with this format! I will have challenges of my own since I am doing a bottom mounted turbo but let's hope I won't have much more trouble with the piping :D

@@AllThingsQuick Definitely looks tricky to do the top piping, but wouldn't the initial bend from the turbo outlet above the suspension pose kind of the same challenge on the bottom? Or can I use a rubber adapter on the turbo outlet for the bend itself into a straight metal pipe to make the job easier?
Your intercooler is smaller than what most people use for these engines, I'm planning on turbocharging my m50 and i intend to use a similar sized intercooler, can you share what your intake temps look like?
You need to get a bigger one. The one he's using is tiny, his IAT's must be high, and his tune inefficient. I personnally have a Mishimoto one and it's been great for me ( e60 M57 big turbo setup)
