Hey just wanted to say this was one of the first RUclips videos I watched when I was like 10 and inspired me to seek out art and animation. This is still one of my favorite pieces of media ever. Thank you.

It's crazy because when I was 11 I learned about stop motion in a photography class and I spent nights watching stop motions online and doing my owns. That one as always been the most inspirational for me. That's funny because that's how I discovered about animation and now I'm doing 3D art professionally and stuff but man, what I would give to be that little kid discovering the whole concept of creating magic in videos again...

Ah I remember this when I was 17/18 it's been a long time since I've seen my inspiration. Thanks for uploading it back in '06! I don't think my whiteboard animations would have existed without it.

@@JohanM942 haha, when i was cleaning out a box in my studio last week, i found a collection of different monkeys in that style in various condition!
@@kristoferstrom Haha, well it's a great character! I'll try and look for some of mine next time I go back to my parents. Just found an invitation for a party I drew at age 13, inspired by your style. It's fun to see now how you try and find your own style by copying others in the beginning. The way you drew clouds and hands for example! I had forgotten, but just now I remember buying new cartridges for my dada fountain pen, cause I saw that you liked to use them.
It's painful to think of how long that must've took.... I must say even if it took years it was still worth it though. absolutely amazing stuff!!!

This, personally for me, raises the question - Is it possible for the viewer to view things that the artist himself did not see? Very interesting and I bet a lot of work went into the making of this great vid... Nice work. Indeed.
