Thank you for the nice video, I just installed the TS-D12D4 with the GM-D8701, connected in series at 8 ohm, I'm concerned about sound quality more than spl, What do you think about connecting in parallel @ 4 ohm would be better ? thanks again
You missed the main thing. That is sensitivity. The pioneer's Champion Series Only good with sensitivity ratings others can only handle high power, can't output more loudness....
I don’t think pioneer can keep up with the “new breed” of companies. DD, Gately, Skar, and many others make higher quality. For same price or just a little bit more.

Could you do a review on a pioneer premier 12inch sub?
Okay

Why 8ohm? That's so much resistance. What amplifier can even provide power at 8ohm

My time with these subs, Sensitivity ain't the main reason we buy subs nuh! It's the bass quality for me
Only ts-w5102 spl made in Nippon

Pioneer speakers are more than enough for normal bassheads !
They always make quality speakers, also their quality control is excellent !
